God does say love those who hate and persecute you, enemies and the unrighteous so they will see the light of God in us and see we want to show them kindness and God's love. Hopefully, they might do good in Jesus Name, Amen 😊

I like Pawson the most because of his true theology

Pawson is one of few preacher/teacher that speaks w authority as one is supposed to. Most now try to backtrack after having to say something out of social norms. There are only a few with his living rebukes at the same time.

What is meant by the heart? Is it the emotional seat of the mind? It is the most commonly used metaphor in the Bible or in preaching. I wish I knew what was meant. I know it can't be literal. It does not mean the electrical blood pump in our chest. Can someone please explain exactly what is meant when everyone says heart?

When God sees your heart he sees what you really think and what you really feel - what you really believe - not what you say you believe - its where the real you sits .......not the face we put on - what we want people to think
Its like without make - up ...naked - no where to hide
It is compassion and understanding, life-giving and complex. It is a symbol for love. Often known as the seat of emotions, the heart is synonymous with affection. In Egypt, represented life-essence, as the mummified had their heart preserved, first part of man to live, last to die

I love and respect Pawson but I don't agree that theologically the indwelling of the Spirit wouldn't apply to all Christians . To be a Christian is to be indwellt by the Holy Spirit. But we are not always being filled and walking in step with the Spirit, which makes us weak. Mostly a disagreement in terminology here I guess.
