Like all the things i post, they are surely for entertainment and if the viewer wants to sit back and listen to their favourite chase themes in one video.
I don't know why, but lately I've wanted to upload compilation videos based around video game music. It all started with Outlast Chase themes, see here • Outlast: All Chase Themes then recently it was Resident Evil Village boss themes • Resident Evil Village ... and now its DbD Chase themes. Also these are the chase themes that belong to certain killers, so chase themes that play with multiple killers are not included.

Hilbillys theme sounds like distant screaming and machinery though
myers’ chase theme is by far the best. its simple yet invokes a sense of chase and stalk. his chase music is the only one that actually makes me sweat when im playing. it fits the theme of someone chasing after you with the intent to end your existence.
Not to mention someone that's simply the embodiment of evil

Oni’s is the most underrated. It evokes that feeling of “there’s a monstrous warrior demon after me that will never stop until I’m dead, and my injuries only make him stronger.”
I would be more scared of Myers. He doesn't have emotion, unlike most of the other killers. He's human, but he cannot be stopped. Shooting him may cause him to fall down, but walking up to make sure he's dead will be the last thing you ever do. Also, you would probably be able to hear Oni coming; on the other hand, you won't know when Michael's stalking you.

@@vaulted4239 They invoke two different kinds of fear. Myers is more sinister, playing with his victims with his quieter soundtrack when he's nearby and a chase theme that essentially repeats the same notes over and over to convey the only thing going through his head is the need to cause death and suffering. The blast of music when he reaches tier 3 is great because it's like a blast of evil was let loose that everyone on the map feels at once.
Oni's is is much more extravagant and booming to represent his large ego and hulking stature. I've heard someone describe his theme from a distance as "The approach of a feudal one man army" which I think is fitting because that's exactly what he was, devoting himself to a one man crusade to cleanse the fake samurai of Japan.
And when his chase theme begins I personally find it much more heartpounding because of how chaotically fast it is, even people from the other side of the map can hear his loud roaring like a demon is prowling the map.

I’ve really started to like his chase music lately
Pyramid Head's theme triggers my depression and anxiety. Mental illness sometimes creeps up slowly on a man much like Pyramid Head. His theme gets darker when one realizes he is guilt and self-hate personified.
The demogorons is amazing due to it sticking to that iconic stranger things theme while adding dbd into it
It was also really hype to hear it when the stranger things chapter was playable in the ptb, because the last unique chase theme was myers' which was like 3 years ago at that point.

13:40 Love the rattlesnake detail in Deathslinger's TR music. It's basically a non-verbal warning for the Survivor to back off and stay away.
My favorites are Demo’s and trickster’s. Demogorgon’s chase really sounds like it’s straight out of the Stranger Things soundtrack and the shrieks in Trickster’s are super chilling

So far I am also somehow of a Wraith main. He's perfect to get into DBD and stays fun even after countless hours of playing. There's actually a fanmade chase theme here on TH-cam which is...(forgive me that pun) spine-chilling. :D

Deathslinger us by FAR the best, it perfectly shows off the horror and terror of his character and personality. Its just amazing music with Trickster's also coming in at a close second also being truly terrifying.

I absolutely love Trickster's theme, the way they added in the sirens is disturbing once you remember that they're the distorted screams of his victims
I love The Executioner's theme. It sounds like an unstoppable force, which from what little i know, is exactly what Pyramid Head is.
Listeing to Billys OST and Clowns OST gives me literal tears of how much better this game can feel ar being terrifying and fun to play as Survivor. Please give everyone their own themes.

That’s why I play Claudette with self care, urban evasion, fixated and sprint burst.

Crazy thing is I never paid attention to any of their chase themes cause I'm busy being sweaty but as I'm hearing it I'm like "oh wow I know this one" lol

the twins and pyramid have that some what of a "calm" melody to it and that's what i like, same goes to deathslingera a bit but i just have to say twins has to be my favorite.
Micheal, Demo, Slinger and Nemesis are all favorites of mine. And of course the default is great too.
Pyramid heads feels like your running through the hallways of the school and walls keep breaking around you as your trying to avoid the bricks

Doctor's chase theme needed to be 5x longer. His, Clown's, Myers, Oni and Deathslinger's are by far the best. Blight, Demogorgon and Pyramid Head's are also cool.
What about Nemesis’ and Tricksters’ themes? I’m curious cuz you didn’t give an opinion on them, and I’m curious about that.
@@fivestarguy100 Nemesis's theme is cool, but it doesn't have the intensity of Doctor's, Myer's or Oni's, or creepiness of Clown's and Deathslinger's. It sounds like the action hero version of a Killer's theme to me, if that makes sense? Trickster's is also cool because it incorporates the recorded screams of his victims, but it also very 'busy' sounding.

I will say that the reason Nemesis’ theme sounds very action theme esque, is because the Resident Evil games are action-horror games and not just horror games, so all of the music in RE is very action theme esque, I do get your point tho. And yeah Tricksters theme is busy sounding, but it is pretty good.

My favorite Chase theme is The Blight
DBD should start focusing in making the game scarier, it's a terror game but you don't really fell too scared, unless it's a scratch mirror myers, ghostface, basically any stealth killer or while you're in the undetectable status effect. You rarely get scared playing it
Oh no I’m always scared while playing DbD, simply because as soon as Spine Chill pops I gotta guess immediately which way the killer’s coming from, and if I guess wrong, THE CHASE BEGINS

Pyramid Head's theme used here is the PTB version. I like both versions because to me, the PTB version depicts SH1's dark and creepy atmosphere while the LIVE version depicts SH2's oppressive and depressive atmosphere.
Well Puramid Head originated from SH2, so the Live version fits him better based on your explanation.

Oh my God I love Nemis' chase music. It perfectly captures Resident Evil so well and it, matched with his hulking size, is the only chase soundtrack to make me have literal chills while trying to escape.
Billys by far scares me the most, it just sounds so disturbing, deathslinger is a close second
To be honest all of them were great but to me, Michael’s is the best.
Deathslinger is my total favorite. So western, so high noon, so yee haw. But it feels like you're riding a horse, the way the percussion gallops along like the hooves of a horse is awesome.

The Trickster doesn’t have the most terrifying sound outright. To the traditional listener it doesn’t sound quite like killer/dead by daylight music. But, when you realize that the high pitch sirens and ‘violin’ sounds are actually screams from his victims… it’s mildly horrifying!

They did a great job at making Nemesis's chase music feel like a boss battle
Nemesis is the first and right now only Dbd Killer that does feel like a boss fight. He’s got zombie minions, a virus which will make you weaker, a whip attack to infect and injure survivors and his overall enormous prescence makes him feel like an unstoppable killer, while giving a chance of hope to the Survivors to still fight back and survive.

Nemesis theme is such a bop, not exactly the best, but I hold it in high regard

In terms of build up, I agree, PTB is better, but I feel in order to induce the stress/fear/adrenaline, the one they decided to do for main game was the right call. Don’t @ me.
The Clown and Phyramid head has something in their osts that disturbing me and scary and thats exactly why its perfect gotta say that the Clown is the best there

I think Smough from Darksouls 1 would make a great killer in DBD as when I faced him and Ornstein ( I'm an Ornstein fan boy)Most of the fight I was kiting backwards while their music had the vibes of "I gotta run" and then " I got this" which in my opinion will be nice to see Smough as a killer cause he makes more sense than Ornstein in DBD
