Lots of people who make music don't realize that the way to get gigs is to literally ask venues if you can play and/or put on a gig there. Don't wait for someone to find you and ask you. I very much resonate with this guy’s story. I am a teenager at the moment, and am a bit of a local “hot-shot” guitarist (even tho that feels egotistical to say). I, into my early teens, also was very serious about baseball, and had to choose between them. I went the opposite direction as this guy and am getting prepared to audition to music schools now. I imagine this experience as if I got to have a major league at bat when I’m 28 or so, which seems so wild and foreign. This video is a great story

Now 4 months after the upload, and after watching all their videos, I realized this is such a Yes Theory thing to do, just like on their early years when they're doing Project 30 and more vids after that.
