I was wondering the same thing and debating whether to use a drywall anchor for the third screw. Thanks for the confirmation.
I had the same experience with the level! I thought I thought was loosing my mind! I premarked a straight line along my wall that lined up with those "notches" beforehand. When I had the metal bar, I lined one side up with the notches and then used the level on the metal bar that's preinstalled. It was way off of my line. I measured like 20 more times to see what was wrong. Then I took a close look at the level on the bar and realized that it was screwed in slightly crooked when they made it. They really should fix that!
I also could not figure out why there were three screws when I would only span two studs. I found your video because I was researching whether or not I'm supposed to use a drywall anchor for the third. Great video! 👍
Doing some research before I buy these and I want to say thank you for the pro tips! Now I won't have to make the level mistake. :)
