i think something is wrong, its an open BOV and you dont hear the ZSHH sound but instead a constant whistle.
you should only hear the BOV when you stepp off the gas and it releases the pressure
i think the hoses are not properly tight tbh

Fitment is not tight. That high pitch whistle means air is leaking somewhere.
