Siren pliers look like reBranded NWS made...👍 Exept for Knipex and Channelock ,Wiha are very Tough pair ,Made in Vietnam if i'm not wrong..🌟Im a big Fan of them...⚡️
@@TheElectriciansToolChannel www.ebay.com/itm/392799576087 I bought these a few years ago and they are a lot like the Kleins. Klein was going to release a cheaper version of tools called Wirepro, specifically to sell at Home Depot, but the deal fell through. I also have a pair of needlenose and diagonal cutters from them and they are pretty good.
Wiha have two versions of linesman pliers, the insulated pair in the video is Model #32821 and there’s the NE style Wiha model #32831 insulated linesman pliers. 👍🏿
Have you ever taken a look at Fujiya Tools 9" lineman's pliers model number 3000Z-225? I bought a pair of vise-grip 9" which were kind of difficult for me to use because of their size and bulkiness then I upgraded to the Fujiya. They are a bit smaller and narrower than most 9" lineman's pliers but still do the job well.
Channellocks 3610 have been my favorite by far. Mine have a crimper and are very long at 10.5" but dont think they make them anymore. Just got a set of knipex that seem very nice so far
Knipex are nice , I seen someone on TH-cam with the Channellock you’re referring to. Aren’t the 10.5 Channellock pliers mostly used by construction workers ?
I once bought a expensive pair of Linesman pliers from Snap-On only to discover than I liked the Klein's that I already had better than the Snap-On ........ my insulated pair is my by Knipex
I came across some Milwaukee linesmans and have the crimpers and cut wires, nails, and screws from home depot. Also look at the crescent brand of linesmans pliers and they work great for what they are as well (I have those pliers as well) both versions surprise me on how great they work too. Well worth the money spent (both brands crescent and Milwaukee). As far as the crescent they are a newer version.
No I haven’t tried the Fluke linesman, to be honest Brian unless the price come down drastically or someone donate me a pair I won’t be trying the Fluke linesman. Don’t waste your money Brian on the Fluke linesman, because they’re rebranded German pliers. Take a look at the NWS brand, or KNIPEX brand if my memory is correct and then compare them to the fluke brand. Fluke electrician tools aren’t a big seller for them ask yourself how many guys you know that have Fluke electrical tools in their pouch ? I don’t know not one, that’s just my opinion. Thanks for watching Brian 👍🏽
@@TheElectriciansToolChannel yeah, too rich for me, I have a Klein that works fine. Just curious, I've heard a lot of complimentary things about their screw drivers, but haven't heard much about their pliers
Pete I would love to answer your technical question but I don’t understand what you’re asking me sir . Will you reread your question to and rewrite it thanks ?👏
That’s wrong Pete, because the neutral is the return path and if you connect the neutral and ground together that means that whatever the ground wire is bonded to will become a return path for voltage also. . It’s called a (FALSE NEUTRAL/ FALSE GROUND ) ( Shared Neutral / Shared Ground ) even though the neutral and ground wire bus bars are connected inside the service panel.
Can never have enough. I still have my first pair from 1986
You’re right tools are addictive 😊😊
@@TheElectriciansToolChannel th-cam.com/video/q7ybaIWJkRE/w-d-xo.html This is to remind others that you are indeed pronouncing Knipex correctly. Lol

Great choice Knipex is a high quality brand.
Guys if work with BX or MC cables I recommend Knipex 09 12 240. This is best that you have ever keep in your hands👍
Great choice 💪

Those Wiha yellow and red ones look like their combination pliers.

I’ve heard about the Fujiya linesman pliers, but I don’t own any 👍🏿
Yes fujiya is nice plier. I have an 8 inch. Please see my English review on tthat.

@@TheElectriciansToolChannel i reviewed them a while back. I liked them as an industrial electrician for the increased leverage
They still sell the 10.5 inch ones on Amazon.
I went to take a look they are nice, dipped handle and the price isn’t bad $27.👍🏿
@@TheElectriciansToolChannel I will probably get them one of these days, especially if I see them on Ebay for a dub. Haha
I own the Yellow handle Kleins and the Channel Locks and the Garden & Bender
Great choices Bloodsong the Sparky Eagle.👍

Great news , but I'm not impressed by the new CRESCENT linesman pliers either.
Have you tried a FLUKE linesman, and if so how do they compare to the other top contenders?

Yeah !
Quite a collection TETC. How long did it take you to line all them up before you decided you had the right layout?
Years TP, years sir ...
Which would you say have the best handle and which do you think are your favorite overall
They all feel good in the hand. But the one that feels the worst to me is the KNIPEX. The handles are very hard, but the pliers are high quality.👍🏿
@@TheElectriciansToolChannel which linemens are your favorite overall
1) Both Channellocks, Both IDEAL
2)SIREN, KLEIN Journeyman Series
3) Wiha, Gardner & Bender
So dad, is your favor “line plier child” Klein, Knippex, or Wiha? 🤣
1.) CHANNELLOCK Code Blue
2.) Ideal Industries
3.) Klein Tools
@@TheElectriciansToolChannel Thank you for the list.
all r good even have some made in usa craftsmans
That’s true💪
I have a technical question “what if someone wires there built in oven with a microwave l1 to l1, l2 to l2, neutral and ground to supply ground “
Pete I would love to answer your technical question but I don’t understand what you’re asking me sir . Will you reread your question to and rewrite it thanks ?👏
Let me try to again basically they wired neutral and ground together

Thank you
And I hope your son has a wonderful military career as a 10 yr Air Force vet and a hvac technician/appliance technician
Nice collection, never use them for a hammer
That’s old school 👍🏿💪
