With that new trailer you could take the cage off of it for doing trees and make it a little bit easier on you and chainsaw, not as many cuts and trips loading up. That's an awesome new setup the tractor and trailer
Agreed, I got myself the plain silver one, can load 2x 6m lengths end to end with some overhang off the back. I can sell about $35k in wood at a time, plus the PF score which for me is about 13% currently. And its remarkably stable going down the hill even with 3x the wood loaded on it. Annoying to load though being a dolly, it seems to want to slide around a lot when on uneven ground.
It's a good deal to get that sprayer , 18k that's worth it . And also finish the wood in that island middle the field 😂 . Just for the heads up, this survival challenge serie is my favorite specially with chainsaw I hope you guys reach like 100 episodes together

I would wait to plant that field until after the rest got harvested then replant it so it’s all going together as one instead of separately

It is natural that chopping canola and leaving it on the field gives fertilizer.

You guys missed out on applying lime to the new soybean field. Also the sprayer that I am using on my game is in the sale. It can be upgraded later to have the spot spray tech for precision farming. Only $18k for a sprayer that you can upgrade later to spot spray. I paid 80k for mine for the 18m width with the spot spray feature included. Its definitely worth getting if you want to get your weed control score to max.
Great episode as always, I would recommend checking the sale in the shop each in-game month for new equipment and to take advantage of the sale. Also maybe get another seeder and a roller for the latest plot of land field since it's quite a big field which would take a long time for a small seeder and a single person to do.
That trailer literally has the same colours as Perry the platypus, I love it

It probably would have been a better idea to harvest a load of lumber from the island instead of planting half that field again.
Just a thought but you could use the bail trailer for logs and turn the other smaller trailer back in to a grain 1 so you can have 2 different grains in 1 go
Okay you didn't leave enough room for the water tanker or the trailers to maneuver around the greenhouses. You're going to be in your fields when trying to work around the greenhouses. Maybe you should move the greenhouses someplace else. Also, you failed to put fertilizer in the planter. So, you didn't plant the canola with any fertilizer. You should buy the sprayer and clear out the tree island before planting the larger field.
Should've just put grass into the small field around the glasshouses and keep using it as silage! At least until you invest into some sheep or cows...
Why? Why drill the tiny field instead of waiting the month and making it one larger field? You'll never get that to be one friend if you keep doing that. I'm sorry for saying that Daggerwin. I do love your videos.
The repair icon on the HUD also takes into account the paint condition (for some reason) so if the paint basically crap according to the game you'll never have that meter full. And honestly I don't know why you drilled the small field. Now it's gonna be uneven for months. :/

I find round bales to be so inefficient. In real life, they have their place in animal care but for everything else, not great. In FS, I buy the large square baler asap!
Next episode the thing to buy needs to be a shed I think in the yard right along the side of the rock ideally one of those open fronted sheds

If you want min/max your crops both of you either need to put the crop sensors on your tractors or you both need to get one the front 3 point crop sensors so you can turn it on and plant seeds first with crop sensor to minimize your seed usage for each soil type then you put lime and fertilizer down with the sensor active so you put down the correct amount of lime and fertilizer for each seed type on each given soil type...you are adjusting the pH of the soil with no seed and no sensor which can actually decrease your total yield by a significant margin
Not sure, but I have max score on 2 plots without crop sensors. And I am direct drilling with fertilizer in the drill (except soybeans, where I run seed only). Game doesnt seem to recognise crop sensor or no crop sensor for the PF score.
@@MrGeneralScar interesting I have to run the sensors to get the most yield, or at least I did when PF became available....will have to do some checking and testing, might be able to save the money and quit putting the sensors on every one of my tractors
@@nopenope5398 i have not done an exact yield test, but the ui shows all but 2% which is because im not mulching. That said, without PF if i spray herbicide before crop growth stage 1, i got 7% more crop yield than when I do leaving weeds to grow to large. The UI shows the same yield percentage both times. So it is definitely possible that one gets more crop yield but the game's UI doesnt reflect it in the percentage.
If you can afford the investment, a wood chipper may be well worth it since you can get 4 times the amount of money out of selling wood chips when compared to selling logs. And it's also quicker since you can feed the entire tree into the machine at once without having to delimb it.
one of these days daggerwin will buy a tractor that isn't a massey. but it's not today!
id buy the sprayer if you can avoid crop destruction when using it

It depends on what Chainsaw says, but it probably would be worth buying that sprayer with its discount now since the one field is getting pretty big.
