I’m looking for these 2 products, but found issues, owner’s complaining, don’t have made my mind yet on neither. Have you had the opportunity to do instant doubles and certify Phase / Twelve does not mismatch encoder pulses and music comes out of sync? Thanks for your time.
Wzup DJ ITitude, unfortunately I do not own the Twelves. Dealing with analog turntables there are inherent issues syncing two vinyl records so I believe that translates to the Phase as well. In general I did not have "out of sync" issues but I think the Twelve will provide tighter integration. I can post a quick video to show the the device holding time if it would be helpful...let me know. Thanks
My brother great video... But i am still confused at using this for TRAKTOR. Trying to install it on a Dell PC is giving me issues right now. Cant even get the Ohase manager to work.🥺🥺🤔

I noticed since using Phase my bpm are all over the place. Especially since I’m a dj that really focus on blending my mixes. My guess is that phase is so much real time that it literally picks up on everything like say belt dive turntable vs a direct drive. I cue a song and bring it in on the same bpm but it drastically falls out of sync even with manual manipulation. I have Serato but I’m very much comfortable with virtual dj. Instead of a scratch test have you tried mixing yet and do you think it has to do with being in relative mode to use them? Or is it a setting that I need to turn off that’s in the background trying to do the mixing for me? I hope this make some kind of sense. Appreciate your feedback.
Wzup Dj Honor, Thanks for checking out the video. Sorry to hear you are having issue...when you go through the calibration and play a track does it hold time (or at least fluctuate ±2). On a different note, I would imagine like you mentioned that the fluctuating platter speed would be more pronounced on a belt driven turntable. Does the issues happen when you are using regular vinyl and/or timecode?
@@XFaderz thanks for the reply. I would use timecodes all the time and never had this problem. Especially using regular needles. It’s only when I started using phase. I was wondering if it was virtual dj as well. I would play a song and when I start mixing the new song which is the same bpm falls out of sync and the song that was already playing bpm starts to fluctuate as well. It’s really weird. I blend and mix really well. I just find it a bit more of a hassle dealing with this and having to adjust. Like if I’m playing a song then I mix a song in it feels like the program is trying to mix the song for me if that makes any sense. Like how the bpm on a song I’m already playing and adjusted to the speed I need it to be change after mixing a song in.
@@ValonHonor Wzup I understand... it's hard to say because I didn't have any issues with Virtual DJ (Traktor/Serato) as it relates to blending/mixing. Honestly, if you have updated the firmware and software it may be an issue with the remote(s). I would recommend reaching out to MWM and possibly requesting a replacement. It sounds like you have narrowed it down especially if everything works fine without it. Aside from testing on another computer and setup, it's difficult to pinpoint the problem. I really had my bets on the phase calibration or the pitch fader if you were using older Technics but just a guess. I wish I could have been more helpful. I sold my Phase to help purchase the Rane Twelves. Best of luck and I hope you get it sorted out, and share your experience/solution.
Anyone know why serato loads one track faster than another even if it’s the same song. Fro some reason my right deck loads with a faster bpm then the left by 2 bpm. Not sure why and it’s killing me to find an answer
Hi Xfaderz, I need your point of view, price-wise, please. If I use turntables using dvs, only at home, regular basis, simple mixing. Can Phase be less expensive than buying timecode vinyls + having to change the needle when it's used on the long term ? I don't know how much it can cost for like maintaining turntables, maybe you have a better understanding. Thank you very much ^^
Wzup MrMegabig23, that is a great question. The short answer is yes. Overall it will save you money, if your primary setup is turntables/DVS system and you use them about 10-15 hours per week. Also depending on your cartridge tracking weight you may be looking at replacing your stylus and timecode every 4-8 months. I can see how its an attractive deal since you have everything already in which Phase becomes a great long-term investment. I would consider the 4-remote set which will allow you to alternate remotes, but getting the 2-remote set still places you in a better situation because you can maintain the organic feel of vinyl and stylus (and play your vinyl records if you collect) and practice on the Phase system. Therefore, extending longevity of both. Its defiantly a win-win. As mentioned in the video I would still like to see the price a little lower. If you prefer 12” vinyl/motorized platters, and “controllers” (Twelve, NS7, One, SC5000M or jog wheels) are not an option then Phase is the way to go. But if you have considered a controller and possibly found one you like, then the savings may be extended further in the long run (no batteries 😉) if you have the budget. Let me know what you decide and how it works out. I hope I was able to help you make a decision. Best of Luck.

Wzup Daniel, I know there were concerns in the past and compared to old reviews I didn't notice any drift issues but thats not to say others are not still having issues (outdated firmware/software/hardware may be a factor). The traktor timecode is proprietary and I had to turn off the error notification but, for me it worked pretty good. I recommend purchasing from somewhere that has a good return policy to allow you to thoroughly test with your setup. Best of luck.

@@cevallosivan Entiendo, si aún no lo ha hecho, normalmente recomendaría que tome prestada una computadora portátil para probar... Es extraño, pero el problema parece un problema de hardware, al menos ayudará a aislar el problema. La mejor de las suertes.

I only use Serato- but Stems on Virtual DJ look kool. Does Phase work without the RCAs on Virtual DJ?

No me funciona el phase dj en una s8 no calibra de un lado
No calibra con serato aunque funciona bien mis phase dj y con traktor solo calibra de un lado el otro no
