Sugar flowers of malayalam are made using wire and floral tape.
Sugar flowers in the English technique is not easy to master. Novice masters need to be patient. At first, it will take a lot of time to decorate the cake in this way. But as you master the technique of modeling flowers for a cake, the speed of modeling, as well as the pleasure of the process, will increase.
To sculpt flowers, a Rose from sugar paste you will need:
- Wire No. 18 for the bud.
- Wire No. 28 or 26 for sugar rose petals and leaves,
- Floristry Tape,
- Sugar paste (In this video I use a fondant for sugar flowers Fun Cakes (Holland). But you can sculpt flowers on a wire and from homemade milk mastic - a link to the recipe of which you will find in the attached comments under this video master class.
