This protest here is led by a non-student with a history of calls for genocide of Jews and there were calls for moving the street protests to colleges to get more support and force the issue for months so this was planned.

The building should be surrounded by National Guard troops so that no one may escape the building. And every one of them should be arrested and charged with trespassing and any other crime that they can be charged with. You have the ACLU there to make sure they have the right to protest. If I remember right Columbia University is a private university, if it is a private university they would not have the same rights they would at a public university. Although my suspicion is, since this is New York, they will be there for 30 days and then they cannot be removed because of squatter laws.

Not sure if you saw the whole clip, this is being handled at a local level. Colleges gave a deadline and if you didn't vacate you get arrested.
