Got a little emotional hearing Tylor’s artistic origins and his relationship with God. My brother’s name is Tyler also and he is also an artist. Thank you for sharing that. It’s inspiring.
this was unexpectedly my favorite interview so far! holy cow.. Tylor is not only such a naturally intriguing individual , but his thoughts and theories about the overall future of the trilogy were sooo interesting 🙂 it's almost (and by almost, i'm pretty convinced) as though he introduced a whole new medium that explores a dimension where we can better understand the subltle clues of the developer's intentions and emotions behind so many scenes... before listening to him, it was just down to source material and music... now there's a whole other dimension of artistic interpretation of the specific intent and reasons behind that intent that allows him to essentially 'tap' into insights that none of could understand... absolutely AMAZING... Thank you so much for setting this interview up. I've been an FF7 fan and avid consumer of YT content about it forever but didn't know about Tylor until now
I own several of Tylor's pieces. Each one is more breathtaking than the last and I can get lost looking at all the incredible details in them. The way he can capture light (his pieces seem to radiate light) and emotion in his art is nothing short of amazing. You have to see his art in person, cameras do not do it justice. Thank you so much for this wonderful interview!
It's so fascinating to hear Tylor's insight on the idea of revisiting a revered work of art, and applying that sort of thought process to the development cycle of the Remake trilogy. I think he perfectly articulated not only the sense of ambition that comes with such a task, with striving to do it even better, but also the reality that we as people are, by nature, always changing and evolving with time. Very wise and so very true. Thank you for this! This interview was thoroughly enjoyable to listen to.
This series has looked at FF7 from so many different angles and perspectives, its added so much depth to the game and also showcased what awesome content creators there are in the FF community, all 3 of you are lovely guys and Tylor's artwork is amazing too! These episodes are keeping me so hyped for part 3!
This isn’t going to resonate with everyone and that’s okay, but I really appreciate how open Tylor is about his faith in God and how much his faith has to do with his art and passion. There’s a scripture that I feel really applies here and it’s Proverbs 16:3, “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans”. Tylor really showed here that his foundation for all of his success, passion, creativity, and ability comes from God and his faith in The Lord. Tylor is living proof of Proverbs 16:3, the fact that Tylor can’t even describe how he’s able to make his incredible art, and he credits God for his abilities really shows me that. God bless Tylor. I think I’ve learned a lot from this haha. Thanks for having him on Prof!
I’m so glad this resonated with you! Whether or not the audience resonates with everything our guests say, we want to build a space where people can share their stories, and how they view the world. Tylor’s faith informs so much of his perspectives, art, and appreciation of Rebirth, so getting into it was super important! Thanks for sharing
@ I’d say you’ve reached your goal in creating that type of environment because it seems like everybody who comes on is very comfortable with opening up. Great job again guys! Keep it up with the incredibly enriching content.
1:19:49 Someone has probably made this connection before, but I only just realised the Tifa falling into the mako pool almost mirrors the scene where Aerith pushes Cloud in the dream sequence.
Very beautiful soul Tylor, he seems humble!! I'm familiar with his art, I would always see his paintings here and there but never knew who he was. I'm glad we get to know him and I'm also glad to see that he believes in God, I'm a christian myself. This interview was very enjoyable!! :)
1:23:50 Oh yes, finally another supporter of Jenova-Aerith theory 😁 And the way he explained how Cloud's smile toward Aerith looks similar to Sephiroth's smile toward Jenova. 🤌 Well put, sir, well put. (and I just checked out his puppet Cloud & other arts, wow!! 👍)

Oh I’m so glad. I loved Tylor’s honesty here
Dude Tylor is the greatest FF artist in recent years. He never misses!
He’s so, so talented
Cannot wait for this, as someone learning digital art and a massive fan of Tylor's work this is a dream episode!

I am SO glad to hear that. This is why we do it- to help the fandom find each other! Tylor was SO great. Thanks for the kind words!

@@GetWiley you’re very kind. I appreciate you so much
Another great interview, and very interesting perspective from a much younger FF7 fan & professional artist. 👍
@@xcom54 I thought so too. It was refreshing to hear new perspectives
