    Is there a size difference between mens and womens goggles, looking to get an asia fit one, but on the australian oakley website(only one that have them in stock), the links lead to womens model

    Thanks for the awesome review! What do you think about the rubber "Oakley" writing on the factory pilot goggle straps, do you think it will last for a long time?

    • @sportrxeyewear
      @sportrxeyewear  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello Alfred! Great question! The heat press logo on the strap is built to last and we have not heard any complaints of it deteriorating quickly. Thanks for reaching out!

      @@alfredo8184 Probably too late but I wanted to buy those until I saw that it was like a heat press logo....I have that on my Oakley gloves and I had to put some glue on it after a year! As much as I loooveee the look of it, I would be really mad to spend as much for goggles and to see that happen.. :(

    How big are your heads? I measured mine just above the ear and and it came to 60cm. What sizes should I be looking at? I'm quite tempted by the line miner inferno but don't know how useful or necessary the inferno bit will be. I also like the look of the flight deck. I'm a bit curious about the photochromic lenses of the smith too. I'm also considering the Julbo aerospace. The last thing I want is an awesome goggle that leaves me fogged up.

    • @sportrxeyewear
      @sportrxeyewear  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello! Robs head is around that size so it sounds like you need a large size goggle. The Line Miner Inferno has been discontinued at this point but the Flight Deck is a great alternative. The spherical lens gives you more volume inside of the goggle between your face and the outside lens to help prevent fogging. Photochromic lenses are an option but sometimes they take a while to change and if you are riding in and out of shadows this isn't always ideal. We have fund that it is often best to find one lens that will work in a variety of conditions or just to get a goggle that comes with two sets so you can swap them out when the weather changes.

    So I bought the Canopys 3 or 4 years ago and I am looking for an upgrade as I have managed to scratch the shit out of them, do you guys think the Flight Decks are the ones to go for? Also have you guys experienced any fogging with the Flight Decks?

    • @sportrxeyewear
      @sportrxeyewear  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Samhen! Thanks for commenting on the video. The Oakley Flight Deck goggle will have a similar fit in size when compared to the Canopy goggle. The Flight Deck features a rimless design that provides maximum peripheral vision and it has that oversize look many people prefer. In regards to the fogging we haven't heard too many complaints about the Flight decks fogging up consistently. The lenses on the Flight Decks come with Oakley's F3 coating that is specifically designed to battle the fog. If you'd like more information on the Flight Deck specifically please check out the link below.

    Hi guys im so confused in buying the regular Line Mine or the Line Miner XM im 22 years old not
    too big head but i always wear helmet ,which you think would be the
    best choice regular or the xm ones?(I had the o frame xm and looked a bit small with the helmet on plus the strap was small too)Thanks in advice!

    • @sportrxeyewear
      @sportrxeyewear  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello Ryder! The Line Miner is a large goggle and the XM version is more of a medium fit. The O-frame 2.0 XM is a bit of a smaller fit and the Line Miner XM is larger than that. Check out this video to see what the line miner xm looks like on more of a medium face: www.sportrx.com/blog/oakley-snow-goggle-guide/. Hope this helps! Thanks for reaching out!

    What do you think about size airbrake XL vs Smith i/o 7 ? I want buy airbrake XL for my girlfriend. I have I/o7 and when my girlfriend take I/o7 , she feel is good . But I don't know how will she a feel on Airbrake XL.
    Thanks for answer ;)

    • @sportrxeyewear
      @sportrxeyewear  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello! The Airbrake XL is larger than the I/O 7. The Oakley Flight Deck XM www.sportrx.com/oakley-flight-deck-xm-snow-goggle.html or Line Miner XM www.sportrx.com/oakley-line-miner-xm-snow-goggle.html is more of a medium fit goggle that would probably fit her a bit better. Thanks for reaching out!

    where would the oakley airbrake be?

    • @sportrxeyewear
      @sportrxeyewear  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The Oakley Airbrake has a similar fit to the Oakley Fall Line goggle. They both will fit medium to large faced people.

  • @Torixmaciel
    @Torixmaciel 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Would the Fall Line be comparable to the Smith Squad XL? Or which Oakley model would be most comparable?

    • @sportrxeyewear
      @sportrxeyewear  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Victoria! Both goggles have a similar design and will provide great peripheral views while you are on the mountain. Only difference is the Smith Squad XL is a true L,XL fit while the Fall Line is more of a M,L fit.

    Hey there I’m kind of late but I have the 2018-2019 Oakley flight decks prizm. I scratched them up not too long ago. I was looking for replacements and I found some XMs. Do you think I can use the XM lenses on my normal flight decks?

    • @sportrxeyewear
      @sportrxeyewear  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Kyle! The lenses would not fit one another as the Flight Deck XM is smaller than the Flight Deck. Thanks for reaching out!

      Thanks for the reply! Btw one more question, where would be a good source to find replacement lenses for my flight decks?

      @sportrxeyewear  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Jaxson! From our research the Line Miner XM will be close to the Flight Deck XM in regards to size.

    Is the Canopy's size comparable to that of the Flight Deck or does it come closer to the XM?

    • @sportrxeyewear
      @sportrxeyewear  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The Canopy's size is more similar to the Flight Deck not the XM. Hope this helps!

      I own a canopy and am looking to buy a flight deck. Only concern is if it will fit in combination with my helmet. With my canopy it works fine though.

    What if you have a big head but narrow face? 😐

    • @kgx

      I think I fit that category (think alien head). I tried both the Flight Deck XM and Flight Deck today at Oakley's store. I found the XM a more comfortable fit.

      Hey Flyingfist! Thanks for watching the video and reaching out to us. As kgx said, the Flight Deck XM would be a good option. We also recommend checking out the Smith IO/7, Spy Bravo, and the Anon M2 goggles. I have attached links below so you can check out all 4 of the goggles.
