A little bit over the weight limit for that bridge I’d say even if the truck and trailer cross independently the truck axles alone would be expected to be close to double posted limit Might have to consult officer hoover on that one
@@bradleyhenderson8363 Isn't that still over the 12 ton gross weight limit? Mike keeps telling everyone that questions this that they don't understand the bridge law. If it has a posted weight on it, what are we not understanding? Do you know? He won't answer anyone about this.
Always love your videos. However today's video is special. When you wiped the hydraulic connector off with your shirt. You let my wife see first hand that it's not just me that does those things. Add relationship builder to your list!!
Watching Mike and Aaron while having my coffee is better than an hour of History or Discovery… I’m always watching for DP’s next video even if they are running few weeks or month behind….lol. As a retired educational media developer and editor, the standard rule of thumb was for every hour of good content recorded, a developer could spend 30-40 hours in editing to produce 60 minutes of good content. Hats off to Mike or someone who spends hours in editing. Their editing storage and archive videos is massive.
No they need to fire the person job it is to dezine roads properly up to hyw code witch cover country gravel roads. If they are not safely pasable by transports any were it not up to code an must be updated. Just think an EMS COME fling down that main road blind curve an wipes out into a trailer across or having to back up to make a turn. It's death. Not acceptable under the highway traffic act
@@arnoldromppai5395 Your talking about roads that was put in way before they had semi trucks. They no way to fix all of them and the amount of money it would take is not even there.
Demco just has to give the dumpbox 8 feet of overhang over the kingpin center, and move the tandem forward untill the 5th wheel load is the same as it is now. That would make it about 2/3 the wheelbase it is now, much more manouverable without the need for steering.
Had a couple days like that when I hauled heavy haul and dispatch swears that the route has been traveled and measured and already verified by two previous trucks with similar loads! What they don’t tell you is how many tries it took or ultimately what approach worked! After the first headache I got in the habit of calling the driver that had gone b4 me and getting the game plan. Didn’t mean it still wasn’t a shuffle fest but it saved the guesswork of which way to approach it! Also had many a times where locals said oh I don’t know why the brought you in this way, you can’t fit thru there, I fit lol !
Mike thats what we had at ConAgra folding automatic tarp......and.....air operated landing gear.😁If it makes any difference I was yelling at the computer screen for you to drive beyond the bridge entrance, then you jack-knife your way in, we had to do that at our storage bins all the time, and we had drop axle K.W.'s with 3 axle trailers, fun truckin, well done Mike.🙃
One of the benefits of driving in the UK, our tractor units are short nosed which helps with the turning circle. Nice bit of driving, nothing like a challenge to make life more interesting. That trailer is really good, one bit of feedback you could give is to have a sliding set of wheels, would be really useful for getting into tighter spaces, like over a bridge. 👍
So glad yall aint like that "OTHER" guy that does the same old boring stuff and flaunts his new to him equipment ALL the time! Yall are keepin it real and thats whats its all about! KUDOS to you fellas!
Hi Mike ,I recently watched a short on electric semi truck you posted . My thoughts on this are it would be cheaper to install some cameras at the yard than to buy an electric semi .
DP, I knew you were a excellent operator, excavator, dozer, skid steer. But you put on a truck driver clinic today my friend. Of course you gotta give Aaron just a bit of credit saying stop, go, Left etc, 😂. Great job boys. Thanks for sharing.
This looks like former Chris's rental farm ground for his either being or corn plot sight are winding the entrance àrea so he can get his combine threw Either that another site that you worked on in the past history. Sincerely! R.S.V.
Tri axles in mass can haul 24 tons seen a few spec out to 25 tons but 99% are 24 tons and 10 wheelers from 19 to 21 tons and trailers can haul around 27 to 30 depending on set up
My left leg was shaking from you making that left turn over the bridge. made a few like that my self back in the day pulling a 40' flat with the tandems in the rear. good video again
Howdy Mr. Dirt, You didn't have a choice making the bridge turn - even if it took you 8 tries! You learned a good lesson with the longer trailer. Great job! Thumbs up. Stay safe. Jim
Hell of job jockeying that dump…my dad delivers sea containers and faces these small and tight backroads also. It seems like every farmer in southern Ohio wants a 40’ sea box up next to a barn off some single lane gravel road. If you can get big equipment down these small roads you can drive anywhere!
You need a driver’s course in semi trailer backing and turning. I really felt for you trying to get into that road. You could have back partially into that driveway across the highway and made it just fine.

Yes, the last year I was running to Michigan and on the other side of the Indianapolis on 31 they had a 850 G sitting on the side of the road for sale and that dozer was freaking huge. I didn’t realize they were so big. J not g
Pond job looks great Mike, Jerry and Aaron! Great job Dirt Perfect 👍🏻 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻! I just love listening to the ole Mack growl when she’s pulling a load Mike, I love those old Mack trucks! Plus you’re an amazing truck driver too Mike! I love listening to the Jac-brake howling!
Mr Dirt Perfect, you might want to check the air in the rear outer dual on the left side of the front axel set of your trailer it looked a tad flat once that payload went into the side trailer.
DP think it might’ve been a little easier to take the tri-axle dump truck and made two loads. Put a bin in the trailer. I’ll have to say y’all get some tight places. Good job Pond look good y’all stay safe God bless. i’ll have to say that’s some good truck driving skills inches to spare.👍

40 ton on 12 ton bridge. I've done this before myself . Good job ! I hope farmer Chris doesn't tell his brother . That bridge needs a length limit .
I'm glad someone else caught that as well as I did on bridge limit 😂😂😂 it's just for looks until the bridge breaks 😂
40 tons and it doesn't all fit at the same time. So probably 24 ton for the tractor and 16 for the trailer.

The fact that so many different companies are willing to let you demo their equipment speaks volumes for you likeability quotient.

nice video , getting it done.
That trailor needs rear wheel steer, It would have no chance on our UK country roads without it😁
I would not buy it here if it had that
That camera view from inside the bucket while you loaded the 210 was very cool and unique

Now Demco needs to add rear wheel steer.
