ive got a 2019 ls 2025 and i love it. ive got 4100 hrs on her and she works just like the day i bought her new. ive added a 3rd function valve for a grapple and installed teeth on the bucket. very dependable tractor. my only complaint is the key location, hitting it and bending the key.
I own an LS G3033H and I use the heck out of it. I haul rock, firewood and anything that might fit in the bucket. I wish the tractor had a drink holder, I also hooked next to the ROPS a small ammo box to carry stuff. Never have had any problems as of yet.
Thanks. There is a small vertical slot on the right side of the seat attached to the right rear fender that I believe is made for the factory tool box attachment. Regarding the capability without bashing other makes, we recently worked out a Kioti CK3510 doing much of what you mentioned. The Kioti does not have the sub frame of the LS and there were a couple instances where the backend got a little bouncy. The loader was also notably slower. JMHO-the LS is a strong up and comer.
I bought a new XG3025 4 months ago its been in the shop 3 of those months with the engine leaking oil in the front of the engine.Since then there has been a recall on this tractor due to a manufactor defect in the frame on the front. They now try to fix this problem by shimming the frame whicch has made the situtation worse.Just using the tractor mine leaks no oil but the moment i start using the bucket to haul dirt it begins to leak oil. Our dealership has had to brig 27 i know of bak in to have them shimmed to try and fix this problem .Which i might add has not fixed the issue. If you havent been contacted call your dealer and ask about this problem before yours gets damaged like mine did.
Hi Deep South, I would not be a happy man if I had to endure half of what you describe. I sold my 3025 and have since moved up to a 47 HP LS but I never had any oil leak issues whatsoever and thoroughly enjoyed the tractor. If I did such a problem as you have and it wasn't resolved in a timely manner you'd have heard about it from my channel. Hope you get this problem resolved; if not I hope you keep us updated via Deep South Homestead. Thanks for watching.
Hi Deep South, If your tractor is leaking oil at this point after the shims have been installed contact your local dealer and request to speak with your local LS service manager (This will be an LS employee, not the dealers service manager). The service manager can coordinate the next steps in the recall which may include replacing the engine. I strongly recommend you take detailed notes of the leaks and get pictures so you can show the service manager whats going on.
Makes you wonder how much testing they do on these machines. Put too large a bucket on that size tractor. If you read on tractorbynet you can see where LS basically had redo part of the frame to beef it up.
Bought a 2019 xg3025 and love it...it was a toss up between the Kubota L2501. In the end the xg3025 was a better tractor for me. Didn't like the treddle pedal and the cramped seating of the Kubota. Also the bucket was not as powerful for lifting and the overall frame/footprint was smaller. The Kubota on the other hand had sweet financing but after shopping around I found a credit union anyways with awesome rates... honestly what killed the Kubota was how small and the rear axles/drive shafts looked compared to the LS. The hst/trans on the LS looked way more industrial/oversized compared to the Kubota, which surprised me.
Great review. Thanks for the unbiased and down to earth review. Watch some of the dealer reviews from the other brands makes me wanna throw up. I'll be honest as a first time tractor buyer I'm gonna stick with one of the more popular brands, though I have been tempted by the less known ones - like LS, Kioti, TYM, Branson, etc... I'm pretty settled on the JD equivalent of this - 3025 - but good to hear that this has treated you better than some of the others out there. I've joined a bunch of tractor groups on facebook, and the stuff I see posted in the Mahindra group makes my hair stand up. Good looking machine, hope it gives you many more years of service. Any comparison with the kubota behind it? :)
Great video bud! I love my XG3025! Mine is a 2017, and I've got AG tires that are loaded. I've already put 42 hours on it, and it does everything I ask it to do. I'm with you on the seat. I'm going to have the foam changed out to memory foam, but keep the stock vinyl. Keep posting great reviews on tractors!
Maybe if You keep bales low and drive on a flat firm surface. Anything else can be unsafe or damage the tractor. I would buy a size up.for more serious balehandling,
No, I have not. I also have an XR4046 that I'll be posting a review for shortly, and the loader on the 40hp LS is actually a bit slower than the 3025. Neither have made any abnormal noise either cold, hot or during extended use.
I have an 3025 as a loner from the dealership that has the squeel that you are talking about they said it is a faulty valve bank system needs replacing. Also there has been a recall on this tractor to have the motor shimmed due to a manufactor defect in the frame. Mine has been permently damaged because of it. Have yours checked
Great review, What would you think is the largest bush hog you could use on this tractor. I have always been told 5 hp per foot to size out the implement.
Thanks. My personal opinion is that the 4'-5' HP rule per foot is outdated. Newer tractors, just like vehicles are much more efficient in making power. The fact LS has a backhoe designed for this unit speaks to it capability. We ran a 6' finish mower over grass as high as 1' without issue. Hope that helps.

I have baby 24hp for 12 yrs. my brother both use it . we both take care of it and its great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! can't complain
Nice video! I just bought an LS XR4145 and did a video using an everything attachments grapple. I love my LS tractor!

It was a engineering issues on those, they fixed this issue with sub frame mounts.

A very honest and great review......thanx for the valuable info.....helps me make a better decision....... :)
Very nice review, thanks. Looks like just what I am looking for.
You need to check out Tony's Tractor Adventure. He has an awesome LS channel👍

Very good
A pretty good review
With modern tractors generally if you can lift it you can spin it.
How does the 14 inch ground clearance affect operation? It seems it would hang up on uneven ground. Thanks
mine is the 2025 series and ive never bottomed it out.
Is it Big enough to load a few large round bales a week with a hay spear off the loader?
Maybe if You keep bales low and drive on a flat firm surface. Anything else can be unsafe or damage the tractor. I would buy a size up.for more serious balehandling,
Friends LS nickel and dimed him and dealer was no help. Dealer support is most important.
Only thing about these is that they don't have the extendable lower links.
I too have an XG3025, currently has 60hr and is ballasted. Have you experienced the hydraulics squealing during extended loader work?
No, I have not. I also have an XR4046 that I'll be posting a review for shortly, and the loader on the 40hp LS is actually a bit slower than the 3025. Neither have made any abnormal noise either cold, hot or during extended use.
Landon Pike I also have the 3025, and my hydraulics are quiet and smooth. You should call your dealer for warranty service.

Hey I’m not sure if you have two feet but if you used your other foot it would so easy it to lock the brake and it won’t matter if you’re a a lefty 🤔?
Now there somebody had to go and use common sense!
I have always did that with my xg3032. Right foot pushes the brake the left foot pushes down on the parking brake lever.
How much is something like that rig cost?
I'm looking at one with a backhoe for 18,900. Tractor alone is about 14-17 depending where
Where are you looking at a TLB for that price?
@@joeljameson3724 willards tractor in walhalla sc. You cant beat his price anywhere I've seen
Will Scrudato Thanks for replying.
Do you still have it, and how is it holding up
It has been a great little tractor. No major issues at all.
The L in LS means lemon
