I saw Chris and his entire band sitting in a circle in the Atlanta airport one time, just singing for their own amusement. I was a huge fan, so someone went over and asked if I could have my picture taken with Chris and he said, sure, sit down and look like you're singing with us! Unfortunately, the picture didn't turn out. But they were on my plane and I got to chat with the band a little bit during the flight. What a mind-blower.
I come from Melbourne , what a nice bloke this fellow is, to do that. He has something else too , he can stand play guitar and sing , straight , no studio help and he sounds great. Real entertainer!
That is totally cool.....A lot of Australians are very cool and down to earth people. I am not very interested in celebrities, but have gotten the distinct impression that Chris Isaak is a totally cool and down to earth artist/person. Wish I could have been there !! (respectfully, a Canadian in Asia).
