- MK Party Spokesperson Nhlamulo Ndhlela says the party has withdrawn its bid in the Electoral Court to nullify the 2024 May polls.
After three weeks of intense discussions to form a government of provincial unity in Gauteng, the executive cabinet for the province was announced yesterday with the exclusion of the DA. Gauteng ANC spokesperson and chief whip Lesego Makhubela says their doors remain open for the DA.
AND New Public Works and Infrastructure Minister Dean Macpherson says there will be no lavish lifestyles for Members of the Executive and Parliamentarians, but his Deputy Minister Sihle Zikalala says there
was supposed to be a consultation with other departments. When I asked if Macpherson consulted, he said “I am not his Spokesperson

The DA have the bulk 600 out of 700 of the highest number of votes countrywide.
The ANC have about 50.
The ratio is 30:1 in favour of the DA.
That's odd because the National results have a 40% ANC majority to 21% DA, that is 2:1 in favour of ANC.
Statistically this is highly improbable.

Thanks for the explanation from MK. Withdrawal is temporal. The matter must go back to court. However, if the electoral court wants to dismiss matter by responding by means of a MEMO , then MK must withdraw case. The electorate needs a public transparent court case. MK must take the time to regroup and send matter back to court. IEC cannot be left to do the same thing over and over again and expect a different result -thats INSANITY. Nor should it be allowed for electoral court to dismiss case using a memo to MK. Court hearing is key. Otherwise MK must find other avenues

They can be compelled to provide that evidence to prove that elections were not rigged, therefore the case is still on, just withdrawn for gathering of more (all available) evidence to ensure victory. Remember that you cannot provide piecemeal evidence in court. MKP is correct is more evidence is still gathered.

I say this because my first case as a hospital Social worker in SA i dealt with an elderly frail lady who was living with her daughter and grandkids. One of the grsndsons eas unemployed staying home sming dagga with friends during daytime he was left at homr with his gtandmother while his mother at work. After hrs it was a shebeen. It happened grany was admitted for different illnrsses but it was dicovered she had severe infection due to STDs. After a lengthy interview she stated that her grandson abuse her financially and sexual almost daily when dtunk and high on dagga. He use to take turns with his friends and even beat her up if she refused. Her daughter didnt believe her when she informed her and even said not to tell anyone and thrrstened to mske her homeless if he reported to anyone. Gtandson and friend thrratened to kill her. Eventuall i removef the old lady for placement in a care home. Once she eas safe we arrested the grandson and friends the daughter got away somehow with going to prison due to lack of sufgicient evidence. Elderly people need protection from outside as well as own immediate family members.

This Gauteng ANC spokesperson sure lies a lot, there's no way the DA would have accepted 3 seats while the ANC has 7. DA can't dictate on how other parties should be allocated.Theirs was 3 and they wanted it.DA is not the owner of the statement of intend,they were invited just like others.Why acting like they own the GNU/GPU...they are the same as other parties who were invited.
@@nkwatiseapi7544OMG, they were not dictating. They used references of proportionality. If there are 10 seats if you got 40% you get 4 seats and if you got 10% you get one seat. This is not difficult. ANC got 34% DA 28%,ANC is only 6%higher than DA. So it can't get double the number of seats. Even if MK and EFF came into this coalition they would not accept 1 seat each and ANC gets the remaining.
