Sending prayers for your family.❤❤I am 53 years old so I have lost many family members and it never gets easier.I I talked to my dad on the 23 of December,he had been out in the cow field and was joking around about the chickens.He asked if I was making sausage balls and I told him of course.We got off the phone saying I love you.He was an hour and a half away from us and my eighteen year old had to work half a day so we were going down after he got off.On Christmas Eve I answered the phone so happy when my brother called ,when he said daddy passed in his sleep last night I just couldn't talk .The hardest thing I ever had to do was going to get my son from work.We sent that whole day at the funeral home.He had a military funeral,standing room only and he look just like himself.Even now when my son has something good happen with college he still brings up his pawpaw.God bless you.❤❤
I have no words. In 2020 i lost my mom. She went into the nursing home nov 11, 2019 and passed jan 1, 2020. Theres never enough time to be ready to lose your mom. I am so sorry but your words brought back some memories that i didnt even realize i still had. Thank you for sharing.
Oh my gosh, the tears won't stop flowing, girl 😭, I'm so sorry for ur loss! It brought back so many memories of losing my daddy 11 years ago, I had just had neck surgery and was not supposed to travel, I knew my daddy was in the hospital but I didn't know how bad he was, my brother was there and never told him it was bad, he called me the next morning and told me I needed to come to the hospital, I was smiling when I saw him in front of the hospital, he realized then that I did not know, he thought I could tell from his voice on the phone, maybe I was in denial but I swear I did not know, it took me awhile for it to finally sink in, when it did, I lost it. I’m so sorry, sadly your life will never be the same. I lost my dad Sept, 18, 2018, he died of a blood clot in front of me and my family. I’m so sorry for your loss. I lost my father 7 years ago. It’s a very strange feeling, loosing a parent. Daddy had a stroke 7 years before he past. He spent those years in and out of the hospital after a diagnosis of colon cancer. His last hospital stay, the night before he was to be released to go home, his heart stopped ( he always said he wanted his heart to take him not the cancer) and he went home to be with the Lord. I completely feel for you even after 7years it’s hard for me to talk about him and the loss and emptiness I feel inside. Even as I write this, I’m going back to that time and writing through tears. I will be praying for you. Grief is hard and it sucks!! Take your time to heal and grieve. ❤

I was the one who took care of her when she was dying of cancer took care of her appointments her business information and then when she passed I was co executor of her estate. I feel how you feel right now 2 1/2 years later. I am slowly starting to grieve. I just read an amazing book that brought me back to Jesus called “Like a River”. Kinda sad, but very refreshing. I think it helped me start to go through the grieving stages. God bless you and your family and know I’m here if you ever need to talk. My mama and I were the best of friends and it hurts to not have her around to talk to in person, but she’s there. I get signs from her daily! Your mom will be there when you’re ready to accept her!

I’m sorry for your loss. When my grandma passed was in August as well. I don’t remember if I had started school around the time. It was a thing back in the days. When my grandpa passed I did take a picture of him in his casket from afar. She did enjoy his picture. We put pictures of us grandkids in each of their caskets. We even put something that meant to them. Grandma has a stuffed dog while grandpa has a kids fishing rod in his. The story behind the fishing rod Grandpa found it at the river. It had on a little plastic fish on the it like a floater. If it had a hock we took it off. My dog wanted to play fishing with the fish which we would cast it out and he’d play with it like a cat. We’d store it in my room in the corner. We always would say it would go with him.
Grieving is forever- you try and remember the good memories . I lost my mom to a sudden unexpected massive heart attack in her sleep 24 years ago in Oct. Each passing year gets better but you will always miss your mom. Love and prayers for you and all your family❤️🙏🏻

My mom, my brother and me were by my dads side when he passed. I will NEVER forget that. I won’t describe what we saw but I will never forget it. Seeing that happen also made me believe in angels.

My prayers are with you. I'm sorry for your loss. I just lost my sister in law and brother in law both at the same time on April 2 in a car accident. They weren't close to me but they have been part of my family ever since I met and got married to my husband back in 2013. I miss them alot. They left behind 2 kids 19 and 14.
Losing a parent is such a mental f%^#. I lost my dad and only parent to cancer in 2021. He also declined rapidly. My dad never met my daughter. I’m sorry you have to go through this, but remember, you are not alone!!! At all. May god and everyone else be with you

I am so sorry! Always remember your Mom "KNEW" you! Mom's have a knowing and a love for their kids that no one else in this world does. Just like you do for your boys. You KNOW them like no one else does and you love them no matter what. Please don't feel guilty, I know it's part of the deep grief but always remember her love was unconditional.
