If you watch the song Dana Dan by Bloodywood, turn on the captions.
Will do! Thanks for the heads up
Another layer of it is how they're filling the soundscape and the landscape.
Great point!
The female vocalist is "The Snake Charmer". She mixes EDM, Indian music and bagpipes. It is good.
Craziest sentence I’ve ever read 🤣
She is also the girlfriend of the guitarist I believe, which is who she does the snake charmer with.
Shae tomorrow: "Hey bro can you sample this flute for me"?
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Love this band so much!!! Havent watched your reaction yet but i've given a big thumbs up already👍🔥🤘🫶
India has relatively few metal bands. But with 1.4 billion inhabitants, there are a lot of high-quality bands coming together. Nevertheless, they are unknown outside India. There is a lack of infrastructure that makes them known, such as well-known festivals or large music publishers. Bloodywood is the only exception. Their sound is so unusual that it attracted attention even outside India.
In 2016, the flute player/guitarist Karan Katiyar and the Grolwer Jayant Bhadula released cover songs of metal bands or Indian pop music:
PUNJABI METAL! ("Mundian to Bach Ke Rahi" Metal Version)
The rapper Raoul Kerr joined them in 2018, and in 2019 they were invited to the Wacken Open Air and thus became known throughout Europe.
The band doesn't sing the most popular Hinud, but rather Punjabi.
You always give me such great info! I don’t ever remember it, but I appreciate it!
Dude, if you love the flute and like this sound, check this bands whole music out. Especially 'Jee Veerey'. I can write a whole article about what they did, tried, or achieved with the song, but for now just lend it an ear.
I’ll try my best to remember this!

Let’s go! I am so bad at finding comments after I see them! Glad you found this one
@@RikaShae Now, aren't you glad you reacted to this instead of just listening on your own? 😉😊
I know you are more into rap/hip hop, so I think it's great that 1.) you are willing to expose yourself to other genres of music and 2.) that you are using your platform to help showcase other bands, which, in turn, exposes your listeners to other genres of music.
Music is what unites us globally and, in my opinion, is amongst the greatest inventions ever conjured by Humanity. It represents the collaboration of the human mind and soul.
