They roll their sleeves up in hospitals as that is what drs do, as long sleeves are found to be carriers of germs from one patient to another. Easier to wash your hands.
Glyphosate is relatively safe herbicide made by a terrible company. If used as it was originally intended as a non selective herbicide there is little or no chance of it getting into the food chain. However, the company then concentrated on making plants/crops genetically altered to resist the effects of glyphosate ( the production of growth proteins by the plant ) So that crops could be sprayed pre harvest making harvesting equipment more efficient. Then Mosanto ( Bayer) would licence the selling of these GM crop seeds, thus controlling the growing of crops at source. The farmers, usually in third world countries had to buy the seeds from the company and could not grow crops from `harvested' crop seed. The corporation basically patented food crops, and why GM foods and the corporation are ` a terrible' company in my own opinion. As for Glyphosate being linked with Cancers etc. Be careful about what you read and believe. I'll just say that there are political agendas a foot, and I've discovered that any findings that have been published have very little peer reviewed and `independent' research or funding. Like everything these days you have to dig much further to get the facts. A study commissioned by the EU Parliament which concluded that Glyphosate was `Bad' Actually had in the body of the research paper only went so far as to say " there MAY be a link to some cancers " Which in scientific terms is about as factually based and useful as we now know "Safe and Effective" was. Again, I'll just remind you that Glyphosate is one of the safer herbicides in current use. What you need to pay more attention to is how it is being used, what is added to it during application ( Commonly referred to as `sticking agents' ) and also the GM aspects of altered food crops which you consume. Also remember that councils are often less well educated on practical green issues rather than they are led by ideology bluster. Not wishing to offend anyone in the comments, but Herbicides, Fungicides and Pesticides are all different things with different uses and effects/consequences. They need to be treated separately when it comes to `side effects' and health related issues and food `contamination'. As a side note; The one thing the EU got right was restricting the importation of GM based crops. However they have just started ( politically ) to climb down from this stance. ( The big Corporations have deep pockets ). Food will be becoming less safe unless you start taking an active part in selecting where you shop for your food. The big Supermarkets are importing from countries without restrictions on GM crops or animal feed. Read and double check labels for their source. Buy British where you can.
It is cheaper to goto Spain!!! Benidorm 4 nights in October INC flights £430, the same 4 nights in Brighton at a hotel i've stayed at before, £580!!!!!!
I totally agree with you Geoff; the world is a changed place since Covid 19! I live in New Zealand and I can assure you that we are having the same problems as you. Our medical system is collapsing, police do not bother themselves with minor crime (and that is on the rise [12 year old's armed with machetes' robbing corner shops]), the government trying to commit to zero emissions, rising prices (especially food and electricity) while the large corporates cream in excessively larger profits, government cut-backs, increasing unemployment etc. etc.. I think the whole world needs a shake up. When will the madness end?
Mind you, Geoff, there's not a lot you can get in a supermarket in the UK for under £100. Great news here in France. In the space of a fortnight, in my local Intermarché, the cost of 1Kg of smoked pork has gone from €16,90 to €8,50. Bacon butties all round. 😁😁😁
Not much happening in that field, Geoff. Happy Thursday wishes, and thanks for the news round up😀. Means I can tidy up and chuckle along to your humour
The dwindling food supply, just one of many dwindling essentials in the UK. There are some things that aren't dwindling, like ulez for all and the odd bit of hidden crime.
If you eat supermarket vegetables and fruit you consume glycophate- often called "round up" as a commercial name. Originally produced by Monsanto and why does that matter? Well the bread you might have eaten today came from Monsanto seeds- They are the largest supplier to agriculture and specialise in monocultures that rapes the earth's soil and destroys small independant farmers. They do not have your best interests at heart? Grow your own or buy from a local organic farm shop outlet. Better still get an an animal based diet based on grass fed sheep and cattlle.
Most people are oblivious the the 100% fact that plants have natural defence chemicals in the form of toxins, some of which are easily as dangerous, long term, as Glyphosate. For anyone interested, search for Dr Anthony Chafee, a certified doctor and neurosurgical registrar.
The police phone me to ask my thoughts on.... if the police are interviewing a suspect and they confessd to more, what my thoughts were about them getting less time. And then this would help the police clear their books. I was almost speechless!
I agree with you on Monsanto and glyphosate BUT farmers don't spray liberally because of cost and there's not a lot of choice. I do agree it's in food and water. Farmers have been pushed down the glyphosate route and they seem to get the blame.
that field has been vacant for a while, thanks for the news reading as I stopped reading the news a long time ago as the new world order tries to drive its agenda

Speaking as a farmer, glyphosate is the herbicide that modern farming revolves around. Without it, food would be far more expensive and even scarce. It is a very safe chemical. Bear in mind that coffee would fail pesticide approval, nowadays, on the grounds that it is too toxic.
And hence, there's a shortage in insects. I also know bee keepers that have lost hives and are supplementing with sugar syrup, something they normally do when flowers in short supply, but weather is warm, for others.

Very educated comment
Thanks Geoff ❤
Not much happening in that field Geoff.. Great video as always
You sum things up perfectly! I hope things get better in time for my kids to have a better future.
@03:56... O're the land of the freeeee (stuff), and the home of the illegal (sorry irregular!) 🎵🎵🎵
Two questions where can I get a tee shirt saying "MY PRONOUNS ARE SHE/IT" and is it rude to eat salad in front of your house plants?
Looks like Monsanto has told the staff to comment on how safe their products are, quite a few comments to that effect on here.
Ah yeah, the anonymous bots 😮
Mind you, Geoff, there's not a lot you can get in a supermarket in the UK for under £100.
Great news here in France. In the space of a fortnight, in my local Intermarché, the cost of 1Kg of smoked pork has gone from €16,90 to €8,50. Bacon butties all round. 😁😁😁
Thank you ❤
Looking forward to PMs questions.😂😂😂😂
Not much happening in that field, Geoff.
Happy Thursday wishes, and thanks for the news round up😀. Means I can tidy up and chuckle along to your humour
Taxes can only be spent on non tax payers, they also determine the tax rates.
The dwindling food supply, just one of many dwindling essentials in the UK. There are some things that aren't dwindling, like ulez for all and the odd bit of hidden crime.
i just wish they'd stop making stupid rules they cant police
Brilliant video Geoff
Nice field
Tell me how a guy who loves volvos knows more about the people than an evil gov !
Yes. Read Vandana Shiva about India and Farmers. Monsanto and control.
The police phone me to ask my thoughts on.... if the police are interviewing a suspect and they confessd to more, what my thoughts were about them getting less time. And then this would help the police clear their books. I was almost speechless!
There's a lot going on in that field but it's all happening away from the public eye.
Thats a beautiful view behind you Geoff 🙂
Excellent
glyphosate is a herbicide not a pesticide.
oh my mistake thanks matt
I agree with you on Monsanto and glyphosate BUT farmers don't spray liberally because of cost and there's not a lot of choice. I do agree it's in food and water.
Farmers have been pushed down the glyphosate route and they seem to get the blame.
Whoa hang on the micro plastics from make up far exceed that problem in food and water.
that field has been vacant for a while, thanks for the news reading as I stopped reading the news a long time ago as the new world order tries to drive its agenda

nothing makes sense
Great video
Biblical values rock
Nowt happening in that field Geoff, apart from being blocked by sunlight and rained upon of silver dioxide and other fantastic Chem Trails...
Monsanto are the ones patenting seeds aswell aren't they? You know the seeds we can grow to veg but the seeds from the grown plants can't be reused as they are patented! Buy heritage seeds (if you can get them).
Not much happening in that field Geoff. Well done. Great work.
Yes business has still not recovered since lockdown and shows no signs of doing so, hence listening to youtube in the daytime. I think you should name the campsite so I don't ever plan to go there on the off-chance (pretty please)
Not much happenin' in that field Geoff. Don't forget, Starmer is a wartime Prime Minister.
Catterick army estate was so badly maintained over years our serving soldiers refused to live in them SO they have been fully refurbished inc new wren kitchens and new central heating snd rewires .....to be given to asylum seekers , don't believe me then look into it.
how awful
Great video as usual................ Pitch Forks
Yeah I did a double-take when I saw the number of views on that video.
I like to watch a day or so later, giving people a chance to comment. Always good comments.
Not much going on in that field in the background, Geoff.
This time next year we can all look forward to feeding our kids & grandkids on fine British wild silage. Delicious!
That's assuming we can survive a winter without being able to afford to heat our homes.
I intend to keep warm by finding a nice cosy nook in our local council offices in the Town Hall.
It's the equivalent of a holiday in the tropics.
Do this every day and I will watch/listen thank you 🤣
Geoff buys cars. Well, the man who hasn't seen cars reads the news and takes a position on politics. Now the program has gone off the rails and worse🎬🏁
Wow!
Organic farmers do not use chemicals, their produce is not horrendously expensive and its healthier
“Safe chemical” 😂 oh yeah I mean it’s only a carcinogen… perfectly safe. Farmer maybe, but a scientist you are not.
@@James_08_07 Is that only in California, where everything is toxic. Look it up !
Its the worst country in the world, low pay, lowest pensions ,lowest moral.
I weed in Lambeth once, too much medication to help cope with the communist stranglehold hic!!! Hehe.
Alot of people are leaving the country.
Not as many as are coming in
Saw the queues around Canada House getting exit visas and guess what colour most were?
The police don’t even come out with shoplifters that’s why it’s gone down 🤣🤣
