Despite the hickup, Freckle also seems to do his part well in those small moments when Ivy is floating through the air during the turns. Dependable dance partners ❤️
I adore seeing the amount of heart put into this. The close attention to detail. The inertia and the overall weight put into everything. The personality in their movements and expressions. The amount of soul and liveliness in such a short little animation is what makes it so fun to watch.
Your story telling is phenomenal the fact that we can figure out the basics of their personality and relationship from just a few frames of movement astounds me I wish story telling in mainstream media was still this good.

I strive to one day make an animation like this. One that loops sp seamlessly, one that portrays the character here personalities so perfectly, one that is somehow incredibly smooth and fluid despite the lower than average frame rate, GAAH I COULD GO ON It’s so fun to watch them two dance around, especially with bow encouraging Ivy is being towards Freckle!
I'm really looking forward to seeing the "Lackadaisy Laison" page from the original webcomic in animated format. As a long time fan of the comic, Ivy and Freckle's interactions and leading up to their first kiss made my heart melt! :)
These dance loops are fun. How about doing one with Mordecai and Viktor? One long loop of Mordecai slightly bobbing his head and Viktor tapping his foot to the music, staring at the camera. Wouldn't that be fun?

Freckle is concentrating on her steps, worried he's messing it up, while Ivy is just glad she finally got him on the dance floor. Neither of them is paying any attention to anyone else around them. These two are so cute together!
This is SOOOOOOO cute! The movement and facial expressions reveal leaps and bounds about the characters even if you've never met them or heart them speak! Ivy is bouncy, fluid and forward with her movements clearly leading as freckle holds onto her. Freckle is stiffer and only really increases his movement when he's about to tip over his smile breaking as well in short: He's doing his best. The most important detail though of course: The eyes freckle is skittish but he's happy always returning his gaze to her. Ivy is confident yet comforting clearly teaching a bit as the two swing it together, only stopping to squeeze her eyes shut and giggle before returning her own warm gaze. Again SO much show don't tell with these two and I absolutely ADORE IT! Can't wait for more!

About a year ago, I watched an animation with Ivy, and I really liked it. Funny fact, I was in love. Now I'm watching this animation with Freckles and Ivy, and now I already have a relationship with this person. It's hard to describe in words, I know. But it was funny) Thanks Tracy for drawing this wonderful comic, I've been admiring the grace of this couple for a year now)
