Dont feel bad bro, I personally took a very long time to decide to watch this amazing series. I been checking out animes for a long time, I just was never a fan of robots. This is what got me to look at anything with robots in the first place. Gundam is also another i need to go out and search for the animes.
Thanks for the review, my Eva 01 400% broke at the waist, and I was hoping to get a different one for a blank body and accessories, it looks like I might go with the awakened movie ver since they seem to be identical just with a stand and what not, thanks again m8
Fantastic review brother!!! I like the Robot Spirts and even some Revoltech Eva's but hands down these are the best. I have and highly recommend the Bandai Japan Yahoo exclusive EVA 01 synchro rate of 400% figure. It actually has less parts although it comes with some very exclusive stuff like the Eva's real arm and demonstrates a very specific part of the anime. I'm sure it's quite expensive but if your an Evangellion fan you may want to hunt it down. Actar did an excellent review on his channel. Its actually one of my favorite figures. Keep up the great works and thanks...
Sup, Death2cornbread! What line do you like the most, between chogokin spec and RAH? I want to start collecting one of those, but still not sure which one. I'm aware there's some pretty expensive RAH figures out there, but there's also some of them still cheap and in stock in some shops. Do you think their retail price is worth it? Thanks in advance!
I would say the chogokin ones are very nice and to be honest get you way more for your money. the Rahs look great, but over time can have way more issues and at their current price...really not worth it.
great review, I was planning on getting one of these. and the amount of stuff it comes with is WOW is all I can say about that. also, if you want to, you can display him with the fleshy colored hands, because during the one angel battle (the one with the laser whips) he loses the hand armor and has bare hands exposed. I might get one, but I wish they would have made a unit 02 renewal...
I don't know if you are going to answer a video this old but anyway. I recently bought this figure, but the one from 2006; and I heard some comparison between this model and another one. Which model is this specifically? Soul of Chogokin Spec XS-01? Or another model that came afterwards? By the way excellent review and assembly! Ribstein i wonder if the renewal ver had a few defect releases. im just gonna buy the none renewal ver and fix mine that way. cant bend the metal, because it will crack the paint
