  • In this Microsoft Access tutorial, I will show you how to use transparent buttons to create an image map. This way you can click on different areas of the image to take the user to different places in your database (open different forms, reports, etc.)

Very creative. I like it when you demonstrate ways to do things that I wouldn’t think of on my own. I may not have a use for this in my current database but I guarantee five years from now I’ll be frantically searching for this tutorial.

The object selection design mode glitch happens every time a user has a larger object selected and tries to click on a smaller object inside of it. (I often design forms that use boxes as backgrounds for a group of objects like text boxes.)
The fix that does not require closing and reopening the form is to click on another object elsewhere on the form, and then click on the smaller object.

    I was under the impression it's Ore-uh-gun, likewise a-dult, and up-end, contrary to ad-dult and ap-pend

7th generation since 1976 here... I've grown up pronouncing it as "Or-eh-gun", as noted above. Both are likely top pronunciations, depending on how quickly it's needed to be said. 🤔

It would be great if it were possible to create irregular shaped buttons😊

That would be sweet. You can do it in HTML.

@@599CD Quackcome. There's been no "e" at the end, which is how others like yourself, have called it "O-ree-gone".
