I saw them last night (7/7/2022) in San Francisco. Holy Shit they were unbelievable. I mean what a performance, the young woman that sang Great Gig in the Sky brought me to tears. She nailed it. I have 1 complaint about the setlist; and it is this: One Slip had to be the worst choice song to follow their performance of Comfortably Numb. It completely killed the vibe in the room. Comfortably Numb is an "Oh My God" barnburner of a song. Then they went into One Slip, and everyone kind of looked around and at each other saying "why this song?" or "what is this song?" Other than that 1 thing... great friggin show!!!
I will be seeing them for the fourth time in Atlantic City, and the first time I saw them (which was also in AC) they played one slip for the encore. Everyone (except for one woman who was having the time of her life) had pretty much that same reaction that you mentioned, as far as I can remember. Great song, interesting choice for an encore, although PF themselves did that song and Run Like Hell for their encores, as BF do.
@@soph4736 Run like Hell was the closer for us as well. My encore choice(s) would have been: Comfortably Numb, Run Like Hell, and finish it with Eclipse/Brain Damage. One Slip is a good song... but not for an encore and definitely not the right song to follow Comfortably Numb. We get to see Riger Waters' This is Not a Drill this Sept. in San Francisco; can't wait to see what he does.
@@nixcool I've seen some of the videos from Roger's Tour on TH-cam... sadly I dont think we're going to get to see it here in the UK I cant find any tour dates for the future. But its a wicked show. I love how he's changed Comfortably Numb. As for Brit Floyd... an amazing set, I see a lot of Floyd Tributes and they all play the same set, this had some interesting differences... I think they put One Slip where it was because thats where it appeared on the Delicate Sound of Thunder tour? Before my time, but Im sure it was in that order when I saw it on TV recently.
I really wanna call bull cause there's not a single shred of evidence that show actually happened, at least none that ive seen i believe you but I was keeping an eye on that tour for so long and i never saw them rescheduled that show.
