Mr Banerjee is correct , leather industry is facing a hardest time . But it's not the end , one day good time will come and bring more opportunities in this industry

It is done. People in general have today more sensitivity towards animals. They are more cost / price sensitive. That is why leather doesn't sell. Some rich people have the taste of leather from brands like LV but for masses, it is gone. So is the industry.

Good discussion but beating the bush around. Simply discussing equavality, job creation child and elderly care.
Simple answer to all ills is - bring all the under previledged to a decent level in consumption rates in respect of health, nutrition, basic education and skills, consumption of daily goods(FMCG) etc. This initiatives by respective Govts as social security and as hand helding by Corporations will increase consumption first, then production in consonance with increased, automatic job creation and increased purchasing capacity. consumption

A solution is so remarkably simple, that ABSOLUTELY, no one wants to hear it...
    Implement a wage ratio.
The highest paid salary in a firm, can not exceed what, 10:1, 20:1, 50:1, (how much is enough?) of the lowest paid salary or wage, within that same firm. Pick a ratio, and enforce it across the board. You would be able to eliminate minimum wage, and the idea of federal funding. All the government has to do is make the capitalist and management class, DO THE RIGHT THING.
    Simple.

Yep. So obvious. Exactly how much more value can one person have over another? It is a simple question. Are we really so arrogant to think that a janitor is worth 1/10,000 of an engineer?

When there will be no jobs, why will women go out so that daycare workers would get jobs?

The best and safest thing to do in this time is not to have kids!

@@Zigg-d5d, if there is no clear future for them, it's better not to have kids! So many college graduates now can't find jobs! I pity them!

It's true but if the smarter people don't have kids,it's not preventing less developed pockets of the world to slow down their population growth , we end up with a smaller number of more productive humans having to support the economic burden of taxes.Who will support our pension and healthcare systems if there aren't enough working age, skilled people?

    • @butchfajardo8832

@@sentinel_Alphacentauri, I'm glad you are asking those questions! Governments and businesses know the answers! When they made their people become expendable slaves, they knew this would happen! Like in Japan, their people are not having kids! This is all their fault! I don't blame people when they said this! If you want us to have kids, you have to pay for it now because it's you government and business that made having kids not affordable anymore!
Young kids in Canada opened a group! No Future No Kids!

@@sentinel_Alphacentauri, my answer to your questions? All our institutions do not care! We saw this way back in the 1970's! They have big budgets for weapons but not for the people! Governments are already serving the gods in their country and not the people anymore! The best decision we made in our life was not having kids! The warnings of all our old folks in our community were right! The world became a lot worse!

The white man sounds so boring here and unnecessarily confused about what he’s talking about.
