    I have never realized how much walking you guys actually do, I always saw truck drivers as, well, just drivers, rarely getting out of the truck, thx for changing my perspective!

      Depends what your driving and for what. I drive brick grab rigids for a builders merchant, I have to do alot of walking and setting up for the crane and moving things. Some just drive and sit on bays with very little walking involved

    Always a 👍like, because off the very tight spots you have to get in to ,and your also fun to watch.
    And a like also helps you out.
    Cant wait to see your next context, keep on rolling.

    Hi buddy first time watching your videos. Just a quick heads up on your satnav issues when planning your route put the postcode in google maps first which 9 times out of ten is just the area of the postcode then look for the company , business you are going on your notes and you get to see where there gates are entered exits etc, sometimes if it’s a small site you can see there loading bays on google maps satellite view so much good info on there. Then put the post code in your truck satnav and pin point exactly where you want to go takes you right to the gate every time. 🥳 . Hope this helps you. One more thing if going on a site like that in the future your truck as a ferry mode button far left button in middle of the truck just below heating controls. Press that and it lifts the whole unit up. Which stops you banging bumpers when going down potholes etc. hope this helps 👍

    Hi im a few months into driving Rigids, can you do a video related to tramping out for the night? I havnt done any nightsout yet and would be nervous that i wouldnt be comfortable enough or would miss home too much. What are the essentials needed for a couple nights out tramping?
    Even a vlog of you spending the night in the truck would be interesting to see! Love the content man

    Im loving your videos dude 👍 I have a question for you, I’m currently going through my HGV test at the moment, I actually passed my multiple-choice and hazard perception test the other day. All I need to do now is book for my lessons. My question is it still a good time to be an HGV driver? Also is there still plenty of jobs out there that will take on first time drivers? because I have seen on websites that they want two years experience first. Also do I have to do tramping work or could I do daywork instead? Great videos as always. Keep up the great work. Maybe you should do some live videos sometime 👍

      I’m fairly new to driving myself but was lucky enough to start driving for the company I already worked for. There are still places that will take on first time drivers you just have to do a bit more digging to find them. I was told to avoid general haulage to begin with and look for smaller companies or places that just move their own products, there is day work about but again it’s just a case of looking around! Good luck

      As a driver myself. Work is very hard to find atm for a driver with experience. Keep at it tho. Try agency to start with. Also if your doing your test go straight for class 1. Don't pay for class 1 then class 2. Some companies may take you on on rubbish money. But it's worth taking for a few months just for the experience

    Dude, have a bit more confidence in yourself, you get out a lot and check and its good dont get me wrong but i think sometimes you dont need to, as long as your trailer is about a meter or so away from something your usually good with your back end swing, I aim to be as close to whatever it is on your drivers side so you know youve got the space the other if that makes sense, youll be surprised, but love the videos some tight jobs! 😂

    • @jhangirhussain
      @jhangirhussain ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree.
      Also getting out and checking constantly where the front corners of cab are isn't necessary. That's what the proximity mirrors are for. The only real need to goal is rear end proximity check when parking close to obstacles and blindside reverse.
      I suppose you are relatively new and it comes with experience.
