I'm wanting to know about the dehumidifier an how it works. What temp do u need to put it for just dehumidifing
Just received this one today. These are what i am doing:
1. Lift up the unit almost the same height as the window using a table.
2. Replace the plastic hose with aluminium one you usually can find in BIG Mr DIY
3. Use the hose as shortest as possible
4. Use it with a fan and set timer to off
5. Set temp to 26 C degree to save electricity
So far im enjoying it and it work really well

How to replace the hose ? any adapter to recommend ?
I got the hose from MrDiy, the size is different at 163mm.

@@hkt9906 use the usual cloth tape with good width to wrap it with the original adapter....no need to buy anything after that

ive had mine for 24 hours now, ive noticed there are a lot of tiny flies/bugs in my room (where its located)... they are smaller than the annoying fruit gnats, but large enough for me to notice at least three flying around me while i am sitting in my room studying. my question is, what can i use/do to prevent them from entering? at the moment this is my only source of AC and would really appreciate any help. thank you

U can keep it running and use timer to turn off/on at certain time
The compressor will turn off when set Temp is achieved
paling terbaik ada 2 hose in dan out.jika 1 hose out sahaja tidak praktikal sbb 1 hose udara keluar pasti ada udara yg akan masuk dari luar.udara yg masuk dari luar sangat tidak baik sbb mungkin saja asap kemderaan dan habuk akan masuk dalam rumah.

@@phewwitt8168 di belakang ada lubang kecil utk hose kecil utk air keluar jika takungan di dalamnya penuh.biasanya letak diatas tmpt tinggi sedikit supaya baldi boleh letak utk takungan airnya

Wonder if it will function ok without using the exhaust hose? Planning to get one for my living room (around 36sqm), but my living room has no windows. Not looking for something that can make my living room freezing cold, just to bring down the temperature by a few degrees.
It would be useless without exhausting the hose outside. The cold air will just mix with the hot exhaust air.

Use cement board/ ceiling board and carve away… better seal the environment so cold temp stay inside

I noticed mine did not come with a drain hose, is it supposed to come with a drain hose? Bought from Lazada as per the link, heard some people said they drain every few days, How about if you don't drain at all?
Me too as it says that the unit evaporates well…just need to check once monthly and buy your own 16mm hose

That's the problem with these. It won't stay at a cool temp! Keeps going back to room temp so what's the point of it!

Hun are you talking about how he got the hose installed to the window? Im sure the panel is versatile so if you have a pull up window or a slide window, it’s compatible
