Actually, Akainu vs Aokiji was an even and fair match-up, magma can destroy ice and melt it but ice can quickly cool down magma and trun it into solid. Akainu had to surpass his equal during theses 10 days so he can win (of course the Fandom ain't gonna give him credit lol)
@shoresidevale8290 dude..... Akainu from Marine side, BB from Pirate's side and Imu from WG side are going to be the Main villians of entire One piece in Final war. That alone makes Akainu Top 3 Main Villian. So yeah..... Until the Final war, Luffy will get stronger.... Then defeat Akainu. Not Now.
@Shoreside Vale noooo, Luffy isnt that level yet, Akainu and Blackbeard are probably his final opponents of the story, it wouldnt make sense if Luffy can defeat them now, but he is close though.
@shoresidevale8290current Luffy is lower Yonko lvl IMO, Akainu is legit Yonko lvl so he still seems stronger to me, Luffy barely beat Kaido with his current powers and after getting knocked 3 times, while Kaido barely had a rest in the whole arc, the beast was fighting non-stop with powerful people, this is rare to heard but Luffy just doesn't have the stamina to keep up with Yonkos, yet. I know comparing Kaido isn't fair since he was The Strongest, but the rest of the Yonkos still have one or two lvls ahead of Luffy too......yes, also the God Buggy :v
I think Aokiji is the one who doesn't get credit. People always putting Akainu a tier above Aokiji as if they didn't have a 10 day long battle, which clearly shows they are incredibly close in strength to where the difference between fighting the two would not be too different power wise. Not to mention Akainu has been at a desk for 2 years while Aokiji has been travelling the seas using his power.
When you see the fat version of kaido then after kaido learned that there is a gym at sky pea and went there and the current kaido is now full of muscles not fat lol(sorry for my english)
