This is great! But I just don't feel like it's justified for me to upgrade when I already have the DJM 900 nexus 1 + RMX 1000
+Dreamer2go Agreed - that combination is pretty powerful - but you use up your FX unit with the Send/Return layout. Having a dedicated Send/Return unit on the DJM-900NXS2 is really next level.
if I plug 900NXS2 to TRAKTOR with D2 I can use d2 how to DECKS? I want use all capabilities pioneer: effects and etc... Not use Traktor effecrt but use how DECKS, cuz I don't want buy pioneer CDJ

yepp, I can use effects from Traktor and Pioneer it's amazing. 900NXS2 - best buy! D2 Fully interacted with 900NXS2. Can't forget download last firmware for Pioneer and soft from website of pioneer.

i hate having to censor during a gig i cant be bothered doing it so i just give it a small shot of low pass filter for a fraction of a second

this is new on a pioneer....this has been used on behringers ddm4000 for years now and you get 2x the fx unit in a complete digital dj mixer

I honestly hate the idea of DJing through laptops. Do I have to partake in the digital record box bandwagon by investing in this mixer? Or can I still just spin vinyls (not control vinyls) and CDs, no record box or computers involved (analog sets).

Man if you understand your music and its production you dont need effects. no track is produced to be ruined by weak pioneer effects..
Yeah. It's better to play every song from start to finish because it's the artist's vision about how the music should be listened. You don't need crappy djs to beatmatch with crappy pioneer stuff or anything like that. You should only press play and apply 0 effects.
