A shorter update this week….
I cant believe it’s 3 years since I started my Model Railway, and even more surprised that I haven’t got round to naming the layout - the time has come!!
Aside from the naming ceremony, I have been doing a few bits on the layout - Namely the third Steam Shed, some detailing around the coaling tower and ash pit and some ballasting around the fuelling station.
I’ve also been tidying up the wiring for the lights - separating the loco yard lights from the station scene.

Thanks for the welcome to Beechcroft! Always had a name for my layouts but until recently never got anywhere near a finished thing. Brought up in Pinner so it was always Rennip - Pinner spelt backwards. My parents were staunch members of the old church at the top of the High Street so it became Rennip St John which fitted the Western theme as in Exeter St Davids and a nice link to my late father who gave me this great hobby of ours.

I think the name of your railway is great. I lost a good friend many years back called Nick Moore, my railway is called Moore Halt as a tribute to him.

The additions to the yard are looking good. That sign looks lovely. You could put a small tree in the unused bumper and have a maintenance person cutting it out. It would make a cute little scene.

Hi. Thank you. The engine sheds are laser cut MDF. I’m really pleased with them. Search on eBay for ‘Triple Track Engine shed 380m Roof Vented & optional wide entrance OO Gauge’ 👍
