Really tho? Most of the princesses didnt need any actual man to save them, they all had seperate dreams. Snow white didnt just cook for them, she had run from her step mother and wanted a place to stay, so she used her abilities and brought the dwarfs to her side, not to mention she kinda became their leader and was most looked upto. And to compare mulan and snow white, think about their pasts. Snow white had lived as a peasant for most of her life, cleaning and doing chores. She had been shunned away and was almost murdered, only to run away and try to adapt to another life. And she remained strong throughout and was 14. Mulan was not shunned at the beginning or was a victim of extreme hate from someone in particular. The only thing she experienced was standards she didnt fit in, which caused her to get depressed. And yeah she saved china and all that, but really, do you have to compare them both? They had problems and dealt with them with bravery, same for every fucking princess.

Little tip because of the Charakter choosing rey. I don't know how much your into the SW Fandom but maybe you could choose Ahsoka Tano, Sabine Wren or another strong SW woman next time instead of Rey. Rey gets a lot of critic because of the "strong female character" thing but they actually really screwed her up. If you don't know what I mean watch one of these videos where people explain you why Rey Charakter isn't really good. Please take that as a tip from a Star Wars Fan ^-^ Btw your videos are really good :D

And I am a huge Star Wars fan, so I know all about Rey and what people think of her, but everyone is allowed to have their own opinion and I happen to think that Rey IS a strong female character. I do think they did her dirty in TROS though, but I still love her a lot. And I know of Ahsoka and Sabine as well, but I haven't had the opportunity to watch Clone Wars or Star Wars Rebels yet, but I hope to soon, so maybe I could edit with those characters in the future, but for now, Rey, Leia and Padmé are the ones I have to work with as far as female SW characters go :)

Disney may have ruined star wars. But Rey is not as bad a character as people say she is. She is powerful, but flawed and insecure. She reminds me of the dragon born from skyrim
Agreed! She's not a Mary Sue like some people claim, because she does have her flaws and insecurities like you say. (TROS kind of made her a Mary Sue though, explaining her great powers because of her family blood, when her strength really comes from growing up the way she did having to fend for herself.)

Well, I did use two characters in this that aren't Disney (Sarah from Labyrinth and Anastasia), but to answer your question, I chose to edit with these characters/movies because I love them and I'm sorry to say that I don't know any of the characters or movies/shows you mentioned, so I wouldn't be able to edit with them as I haven't seen them. But I'm sure if you search youtube, you'll find other editors who have made videos with them :)
I honestly don't mind her falling in love with Shang. I think their chemistry is really good and also very different compared to previous Disney romances, given that Mulan pretends to be a man which adds some homosexual undertones to it all (at least before Shang finds out Mulan is really a woman).
