    I recently purchased this exact model, and it's also my first air fryer. I absolutely love this thing. Did some bbq chicken wings tonight and they were absolutely delicious. Easy to use, easy to clean, and the clear glass and oven light make for great ergonomics. As far as the break in cook, which is recommended by the factory, there is only a faint odor of "the new" being burned off. I used it immediately after, and there was no unusual odor or taste in my food. I should have purchased this air fryer much sooner. Such a convenient way to cook for a single person, and clean up couldn't be easier. Definitely would recommend this air fryer to someone who's in the market for one.

    Thanks. I'm currently shopping and I do love the window BUT when I saw the "filters" (and watched your very informative video) I'm now deciding against. Its a gimmick to squeeze out more $. Having to constantly replace is a turn off plus what if you're caught without a filter one night? The whole point of these types of gadgets is simplicity and this just makes it a hassle. So glad I watched your video, thanks!

    What a super great review!! THanks so much!! Just one thing....(as a culinary teacher)...it would be really useful if you could say why to ''rest'' the wings one hour :-) I can see it might be so the flour absorbs moisture from the wings....creating a sticky coating....kind of instead of a traditional just plunging the wings in the deep fryer ? :-) I'm gonna make these tonight!!

    • @thasneen
      @thasneen  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you, glad you liked my review :) Letting the wings rest after coating allows the flour to absorb moisture and stick better, creating a thin layer that becomes crispy when cooked, giving a crunchy outside & juicy inside. Do try this method, wings will turn out awesome, hope you'll enjoy :)

      I don't think she ran it a couple times with no food first. You have to "bake the new" out of them. It's not good to put food in the first or second heating of these things.

    Hello, i need some advice, recently i bought one instant vortex plus clearcook air fryer. everything seems to ok but i noticed some rattling noise while opening or closing the basket or touching the top with basket remove. i think its coming from the heating element. is it normal or should i get a replacement?

    • @thasneen
      @thasneen  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Consistent rattling especially from the heating element area isn't typical and could indicate a potential issue. Make sure there aren't any loose parts inside the air fryer, including the heating element. Try running the air fryer without any food to see if the noise persists. This can help determine if the noise is related to the heating element or something else. If the rattling continues after these checks, do contact the retailer or manufacturer for support, they might send you a new air fryer. Hope this helps :)

      @@thasneen thankyou for the response, air frying does the job without any noise. only thing i noticed while on standby if i open and close the basket or tap the top without the basket inserted, i could hear the rattling or vibrating noise from the heating element. i have shared the video through Instagram dm, if you could check with your end that would be really helpful for me to choose whether to keep or replace

    You didn't turn them halfway through on the wings---will they not get crispy on the bottom if you don't do that? Also, could you have just air fried the wings instead of baking?

    • @thasneen
      @thasneen  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Even heating makes the bottom crispy as well. Air frying can also be done instead of baking.

  • @speppers69
    @speppers69 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +9

    You said it cooked great...but don't recommend because of a minor secondary feature that has no effect on what you get an air fryer for? That's silly. I think I will bypass your channel.

    • @thasneen
      @thasneen  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +10

      This air fryer prominently touts its odor erase system as a key feature, but in my experience, it failed to deliver on this claim. The inability of this air fryer to effectively eliminate food odors is a significant drawback. I've reviewed many air fryers, and even ones without this feature do a better job at getting rid of food smells. I don't recommend a product that doesn't live up to its basic advertised features. What may seem trivial to you could be significant to others!

    • @speppers69
      @speppers69 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      @thasneen Then you rate it as "neutral" and state your reasons you couldn't rate it as recommended. Added features...even advertised features...have no impact on the performance of the appliance for the stated purpose...cooking. People don't buy cars because the headlights come on automatically when it's dark. It's an added feature.
