Nice bit of kit, I'm sure you'll have some creative fun with that!
It's got its uses Bob even for a diehard 👍
Great bit of kit too clever for me 😊
Maybe Mark but it's not the machine, it's learning the cad software to make things which you may need for a model which takes the time 🤔👍
@@CliffHarveyRCPlanes that's what I mean my daughter needs to sort out my phone every two weeks
Nice review, pretty comprehensive. Indeed tempting, especially for accurate plywood cutting, but it would take the fun out of building with balsa ;)
Just a different sort of fun I guess Andrew, and every 'tool' has it uses 😁👍
Good morning Cliff! Nice desktop toy you've got here. Exactly the kind of thing all of us dedicated hobbyists & crafters want AND fear: to free us the agony of cutting out soooooo many difficult bits, ribs by hand--while rapidly losing a lifetimes' dexterity/acuity at handling a scalpel blade! The way cellphone use 'helped' us forget all our common, favorite phone numbers from out our daily memory!
Well said but using a scalpel is ingrained into us isn't it 😁👍
Id like to get one of these if they cutting bed was bigger. Ive got access to a larger cutter but need to get my head around lightburn. PS i spotted the typo before you said about it.
Hi Oliver, the cutting bed is small but then it's for hobbyists really, just think it if was three times the size it would be really great. Take a look at TheLouisianaHobbyGuy, he's got some really good tutorials on Lightburn, this one helps to set your machine up the correct way but definately check out all his videos, th-cam.com/video/dQUQmRzkako/w-d-xo.html, cheers.
I did watch your video, nice quality and review but in my humble opinion this laser has a way too small workspace for its pricing and i am afraid, even i f i don not build rc planes, its to small for building rc planes, maybe however for some small detailed parts. Good luck and yes a laser can be a great addition.
Fair enough Ron, I agree it's no good for bigger components but then I don't think it's really aimed at aero modellers, but it's very good at what it can do and safe with it, thanks for watching, cheers 👍
Cliff great demonstration. Jeff in LA USA
Thanks Jeff 🙂
Nice desktop unit, you will be able to do some fun stuff with that 👍🏻
Being able to place items on the work surface and take a picture for easy lining up is a bonus, it'll be very useful 🙂👍
@@CliffHarveyRCPlanes Yup I have a camera on mine, I had to get it separately thou.
Very good! This looks good and convenient, and the security is good
Absolutely Elena, thanks for watching 👍
Where can I find a tutorial on how to connect the K8 laser using the Android phone??
Hi Oscar, I don't know but have you tried asking on the manufacturers Facebook pages, lots of helpful people on there helping folk 🤔👍
