    I've seen Clutch close to 20 times, and every time I do, I am mesmerized by this man

      Same here man. I've literally lost count. They are my absolute favorite band and individual musicians of all time.

      One of the greatest drummers of all time. Clutch has been a band longer than John Bonham was alive at this point. Think about that....

    Absolutely love his feel, JP's a master of doing more with less.

      Im pretty sure he sings to himself the melodies or something, remember reading it somewhere before

      When a musician has facial ticks, that's how you know they're really in it

    • @archangel5627
      @archangel5627 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      JP’s facial ticks are just another reason why he’s so entertaining to watch play. Also, I’m sure his facial ticks are a result of him counting his beats, steps, and keeping time.

      JP live is also off his seat half the time, seemingly constantly readjusting his position. Gotta have style. :D

    I'm not a musician, just a fan of music and a huge Clutch fan from the begining till now. I just think, from my point of view, JP is an amaazingly talented, and dedicated, disiplined Musician! love his videos.

    Wouldn’t be great to have a Pro for your drummer? In the 80’s, we had like 10 drummers.

    Keith Moon, Ginger Baker, John Bonham…JP walks among these rock drummer giants. IMO, he’s even better than them, as he’s more versatile.

    Does he have a 14 inch Tom up top???

    • @AudioheavenDenmark
      @AudioheavenDenmark 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      13"

    • @svenmuller7283
      @svenmuller7283 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@AudioheavenDenmark I am pretty sure it's a 14". He normally uses a big kit with 24", 14", 16", (18"). Compare the sizes of the snare, the tom and the 15" hats.

    • @svenmuller7283
      @svenmuller7283 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      There is a vid with J-P called Gear Masters ep. 75 here on ytube. I'm pretty sure it's that tom, 14" in red sparkle. Bass is even 26" :O .

    When JP stands up to adjust it’s because his 800lb b20 balls needed attention paid.
