I absolutely love the way Fish breaks down holes and shots. Fantastic. Also a different perspective than we often hear, you can really tell how much he thinks through each shot, and that he was definitely an engineer ha.
18 as well. Average results though... There simply are no somehow superior discs, it's all about practicing and experience. But disc golf is driven by the sales of these unrecyclable pieces of plastic, unfortunately, even if majority of buyers don't need any new discs. That's by far the biggest issue with this sport long-term, imho.

Disc golf has a huge sustainability issue and so far only Trash Panda has been (somewhat) talking and doing something about it. But ok, enough about this, looking forward to round 3.
@@k.squared not sure if you are aware but all these discs are recyclable plastic. I know you note that Trash Panda is doing something about this, but he's making recycled products using discs sent to him - typically damaged discs. Other manufacturers also recycle some of their defective discs into other discs like the R2 line, Echo Star, and BioFuzion. 🙂
Man, they look tired on the first hole. I'm kind of amazed how good everyones scores are, it seemed like Niklas has been driving way better than the others, however the putting has been really good by everyone. Really exciting to watch.
Yeah, feel bad especially for Goose, he was on FIRE Day 1, but just couldn't keep the momentum going. Like the commentators said, hard to get your body to adjust to a completely different tee time. And then they're gonna have abbreviated rest and have to play Round 2 later this afternoon.
@@1andonlyMiro I assume most of them would have been in the US for a while to prepare for Worlds and get used to the time difference. But wouldn't 7:45 AM be like 1:45 PM or 2:45 PM for them, whereas a later afternoon start be more like 9 or 10 PM (or later)? I'm sure the time difference definitely plays a part - your body's biorhythms are definitely way off.

Interesting commentary on start time. The group of guys I play with usually play at 6:00 or 6:30 every Friday and Saturday. These guys slept in!
