      Oh yeah, I live in germany. Had to have several 6-8 hour drives on an Autobahn, often going onto several. Had it once that 2 Ferrari's (I think, it was a car that had a quad exhaust in the exact middle of the back that's what I know for sure. Both of em.) Were racing on the left lane (fast lane) And I saw a fucking Micra going as fast as It could to follow an record. I swear, the howling of that Engine was so painfully high it still haunts me in my dreams. It's one thing to not take care of your car, but to mistreat it? That's like asking a human to run at 60km/h. That just cant be healthy. If I remember correctly, that Micra was around 160km/h fast, we were going ~110 and it just shot past us.

      Maybe the reason people treat you that way is because everyone gets treated that, they know something you don't, and their boss is a pushy, self entitled, over aggressive, self involved dick. Luxury cars drivers always never use indicators unless they're cutting the queue, tailgate, speed, road hog the overtaking lane, and generally drive like the worst most negligent narcissistic egomaniacs that think they own the road. Something else that I think you missed off the list; is how low you are as a driver sat in the car and how that impacts your visibility, especially in varying conditions. A friend of mine had a Lotus Elise (not exactly super car but it is low to the ground) and driving at night or in the rain, it's horrible. In the rain, you get way more spray from cars in front splashing up on the windscreen than you would in a standard car, and at night, EVERY car on the road is blinding you when they drive past in the opposite direction. In most normal cars, it's only really taller SUV's, 4x4's, vans and trucks that can sometimes dazzle you, but in a supercar where you're lower down to the ground, normal saloons and hatchbacks will also get onto the list. Especially these days where headlights on newer cars are becoming brighter and more powerful, it is very easy to get dazzled by someone just driving in the opposite direction.

    OMG! THE PARKING THING IS SO TRUE! I have made some people mad or irritated by how far I park my car. And I tell them: “Aye! When you get a nice car and you are paying for it yourself you will understand. Ain’t nobody paying for this car except me.”
    One of my buddies was so cool when I parked far away, he was like: “Aye homie I don’t blame you! This is YOUR car, you can park it where ever you want!” I respect ✊🏽him for that.

    I've had anything from minivans to civics etc drive beside me speed up to get there, or pass because they want to hear the motor if I speed up. Sit at lights and stare (have very dark windows so they don't see that I see them) and the parking is very annoying and causes anxiety. I park out in the boonies and people will park right beside.

    This was enjoyable and a well-considered video. Of course, you don't even have to have a supercar for a lot of this to happen, as I discovered when I became a Corvette owner. (Standard joke: you 'll do a lot of walking when you buy a Corvette because you will have parked so far away from everyone else). My 911-owning friends see a lot of the same things. But I applaud the comment about learning to drive your car properly--high-performance cars should have high-performance drivers.

Cars are meant to be felt in corners on good roads, not in great speeds and 3 degree turns that are made for simply going Point A to Point B and would make you sleepy after a while. And guess what? Most countries have the former. Learn to enjoy what you have properly instead of spiting others for no reason.

    Once I was in a parking lot sitting in my old car, and an old couple pulled up next to me. The women dinged my car so hard I thought somebody hit me and then saw the their back door open and touching. So I slowly stuck my head out in a bit of a shock and just looked at her and she said oh no it's ok don't worry. And the husband just looked at me. All she had to say was one word. She didn't even need to emphasize it, just to say it. Sorry. But that was too much for her. And then another guy once did the same but not as hard and he said sorry in the most low effort way imaginable but just because he acknowledged it it didn't upset me at all and I just said sure and carried on. But everytime I thinking about that fucking women telling me it's ok and her husband backing her up by starring me down it pisses me off.

  • @christoforospaphitis4090
    @christoforospaphitis4090 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Especially the last bit, personally about 18 years ago I was driving fast in a quiet night with my 1.5L Mirage and a guy behind me was catching up fast, I mean real fast on a straight while I was doing 140km/h, I thought it would be a Supra or something so i decided to go flat out in the upcoming round about, I did 420 degrees of the round about taking the initial first exist (after a full clockwise round), the road was going left over a crest, then i would straighten up for about 400m and then there was a 90 degree left turn, in a dip and a little bit negative camber on the inside due to the elevation change. Now i opened up a significant gap in the round about but as soon as I hit the straight the guy behind me quickly passed me, it was a Ferrari 360 Modena, when he was going into the turn I was quickly catching up with him before he span it. Fortunately he didn't hit anything because the road was widening up quite a lot. I stopped and asked him if everything was ok and then exclaimed that those Miravolutions are fast (Mirage/ Colts converted into an Evolution), I told him it's a FWD 1.5L and the only thing i changed was the dampers, wheels and a front AR bar. Not taking it well from the insult he proceeded to challenge me to a race with out cars on the line. I accepted the challenge provided I would get my other car, he then asked what is my other car and said a stock Mitsubishi Starion from 87 (truth was it wasn't full stock but had some tuning from 180Bhp to 350Bhp, still less powerful than the Ferrari but I was confident), unfortunately he declined me changing cars and insisted i race him in my small 1.5L, I left saying that its a shame that such a car is driven by him and that he is shameless trying to race me on such unequal terms

    In terms of unwanted attention, I can only agree. I got an Audi RS7 last year which is by no means a supercar and still looks somewhat normal, yet it turned peoples heads and definitely got me into a lot of conversations. I can only imagine that owning a proper supercar would turn this up to eleven. Now I don't mind the conversations at all, but its important to note that this goes both ways, I've encountered a lot of jealous people aswell, they threatened to sue me because I had the audacity to overtake them (all legitimate ofc), they never actually did sue me because it was pointless, but you really have to have some thick skin to not let people like that ruin your day on occasion! I never expected this to be the case for just a RS7, but people are jealous because of the most stupid shit nowadays...
