In the book of Genesis we see God at work, and we learn how God intends us to work. We both obey and disobey God in our work, and we discover that God is at work in both our obedience and disobedience. This song sung by Intsika Yomzi beautifully paints the creation process and how admirable this is. The song details the creation of Adam and later touches on an important point. The Altos say “Zakeleni indawo yohlala nisaphila enyameni” which translates to creating a pristine heavenly place for yourself whilst in the flesh. Here we are called to remember the beginning beloved.
