Yaphuma indoda / The Parable of the Good Samaritan.

The Good Samaritan parable sung by Intsika Yomzi, is one of the most beloved gospel stories for young and old alike. The story is told in Luke 10:29-37:
A man going from Jerusalem to Jericho is attacked by robbers who strip him and beat him. A priest and a Levite pass by without helping him. But a Samaritan stops and cares for him.
This story demonstrates how we should “love our neighbors as ourselves.” When others need our help the most, like the man beaten by robbers on the road, our love for neighbors is truly tested. Jesus instructs us to be like the Good Samaritan, helping others in times of suffering, and not the Priest and Levite who neglected their neighbor.
