Fall bite has started further north in Illinois (please don't pronounce the S). Looks like you had a couple of days of willing fish complete with a Heartbreaker. Saturday our favorite creek would have been similar but we got a nice light rain last Friday that brought the water up a bit. We had one smally swipe at topwaters 3 times but failed to get hooked. It even pulled that patented Air Jaws move breaching over my popper.. It would have been really disappointing but I did manage a PHAT smally 2 hours earlier that hooked itself. It was 16.5 give or take a quarter inch. Blessings brother
