I've just booked all the refugios for next year's hike of TMB. We're also planning to do the variant and stay at the Gite Les Melezes. Great to get a preview from your video. Excellent work! The drone footage is fantastic for really understanding the terrain. And the 3D map at the end also gave me a bird's eye view of what this section will be like. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Your hard work is much appreciated!
Wonderful footage of the Tour du Mont-Blanc. This brings back good memories from my own TMB's in 1968 and 1998. Over the years it has become more busy but the view remain splendid.
Efrén, excited to check out your TMB videos! I started the TMB 6/20 this year and have done several of the major caminos 2018,2019 so I'm into seeing what you saw and doing a little reliving.
Efren! You deserve so many more video views than you generally have. My husband and I have enjoyed watching your videos nearly every night for a year now. They are always so inspiring and they give us much to dream about for our future. I just need to get strong and healthy. I have plans to walk a portion of the Camino in Portugal to Santiago this September with friends and I can’t wait! Maybe if you start making some YT shorts your video views will increase. Just a thought. Blessings!
Excellent video! You nailed it! Thank you so much 😊 I’ve watched a bunch of TMB videos in preparation for the eventual 10 to 11 days Trek. Yours is top! Can’t wait yo watch the following ones. Great job 👍
What a gorgeoes alpine scenery (as well as the footage that brought it to us 🥰)! The suspension bridge over the waterfall - magical, strait from the fairytail!😊 Tour the Mont Blanc is on my list now (although that descent looked brutal)! Can't wait for the next TMB vlog!🐌🌻
Magical Efrén, as always you pick the most sublime routes to take us all on! The views, countryside and Flora & Fauna makes it unforgettable! ¡Buen Camino y Salud! 🏔👣🦉🍷🍷👍😎
Hey Efren, nice to see you back on camino. Definitely doing this one in 2023!! Just came back from GR20 in september and I would love to hear about your expérience on both :) Enjoy !
Your videos gave me the confidence to do the Portuguese Coastal Camino last year, and I already had eyes on the Tour du Mont Blanc, so I’m very excited for this series. Such gorgeous drone footage 🤩
I was extremely lucky on yhis trip not a single rainy day on the trail. There was a massive heatwave sweeping across Europe and we were spared on the mountains. Some sections were challenging but over all well worth it. I wouldn't recommend doing it in less than 10 days
Your videos are amazing! We just did the TMB in early July of 2022. Our weather was nothing short of perfect. I'm curious what dates you hiked, since I saw mention of the heat wave.
Thank you for the TMB series! May I ask for international travelers, where can we keep the luggage during the hike? Do hotels help keep it and we can pick up at the end? Thank you!
How do spell "get or jete" the places where you spend nights. If you are delayed, is it difficult to swap reservations. Do they have some excess capacity? Like hotels.
I say just as hard if not more but the views are spectacular. You will also see way more hikers and the support is there for you. The via di Francesco, the section I walked, has more history and towns but you are on your own.
I say it's hard. Most days require a 1,000m accent with an equality brutal decent. I recommend you take your time and don't try anything crazy like trying to complete it in less then 10 days. I did it in 13 including a rest day.
Man… great video..! I was in Chamonix once time ago and loved it, that tour is in my bucket list I’ll be watching all these videos to learn a bit more and asking questions along the way . 🏔 👍

Thank you Paul. So glad you found it helpful.

Beautiful video Efren, this is now on my walking list for 2023, many thanks 🙂

You are lucky you started this life early. I'm too old now to do many long term adventures so I'll live through you.

Thank you Rogar. The TMB was incredibly beautiful and will be hard to top.

Wow. Amazing footage. What a stunning place.
And It's only going to get better

thank you Gina. I'm so happy my videos gave you extra push to do the Portuguese. the Tour du mont blanc is the most beautiful hike I've done so far.
You always seem like you’re having such a great time, I could only resist for so long 😊
Efren, you are really lucky with the weather, as usual! Blue skies, and great views. Seems really crowded (at least in July) and challenging.

Thank you so much. I walked from July 10 to the 22nd.
Great video as usual.
yyeah!you uploaded good recording-Efrén~ 🤚

Thank you so much. I'm so glad you liked the series. On this vlog I mentioned I left my luggage at the hotel where I stayed on my last day.
Bedankt
Thank you so much for the support

gîte. It's hard to swap reservations due to the fact that most places are booked solid months in advance
Efren,
Why did you go counter-clockwise? Which direction/route is more popular?
That's the most popular. I followed the classic itinerary.
How would you say that it compared to the Via di Francesco?
I say just as hard if not more but the views are spectacular. You will also see way more hikers and the support is there for you. The via di Francesco, the section I walked, has more history and towns but you are on your own.
Buenas felicidades por el vidio me podrías indicar cómo puedo poner los comentarios en español
Gracias Josep. En realidad no se como se hace. Creo que youtube se encarga de traducir el video. Échale un vistazo al botón CC
Did you find a younger crowd compared to more traditional Caminos?
Absolutely. I also met more Americans and English speakers from other countries.
@@Walk_with_Efren how difficult would you rate the Tour du Mont Blanc overall?
I say it's hard. Most days require a 1,000m accent with an equality brutal decent. I recommend you take your time and don't try anything crazy like trying to complete it in less then 10 days. I did it in 13 including a rest day.
at 12:50, which town is this?
Les Contamines
