This song got stuck in my head for... almost 30 years now I guess? I always thought it was some kind of song from the 60s or something, and today I realized that it was from Doug, and the song was specifically written for it? That is freaking amazing. I watched Doug in Belgium. Because I was young and English is nobody's mother tongue here, I thought the lyrics were something like "where's the kung fu".
This was my favorite show as a kid, but I haven't thought about it in a long time and then randomly the chorus "ooo ee ooo killer tofu" popped into my head at work and I am so grateful that it did. I forgot, or possibly never acknowleged the pure, bitchin', rocking awesomeness of this song. The Beets are so effing bitchin'. My mind is blown!
I came here just to relive my childhood once again. It's awesome to hear and listen to something from the past, especially right now in this time period.
I never realized how incredible the guitar-work on this is, little kid me couldn't have appreciated that the way I can as an adult. Good on whoever performed it on going all out! Kinda reminds me of the heavy metal episodes of KND, conceptually.

Doug was awesome and this song is awesome! The 90s was the best time to be a kid!
I came here just to relive my childhood once again. It's awesome to hear and listen to something from the past, especially right now in this time period.
We need full performing personnel for this song in the description.
It’s 2023.
I never realized how incredible the guitar-work on this is, little kid me couldn't have appreciated that the way I can as an adult. Good on whoever performed it on going all out! Kinda reminds me of the heavy metal episodes of KND, conceptually.
This song is actually better than I remembered it. It’s surprisingly good
This is a certified banger and hood classic
you'rea fucking certified racist
Facts are facts
Banger
This song kicks so much ass. I'm so thankful to have been a 90s kid
Me too! 😃
A real 90s kid knows this song by heart as soon as they hear it!! #Proud90sKidForLife!
I can’t believe this literally popped in my head randomly lol! I had to hear it again. Memories….🎉
I forgot about this song till I watched a doug VHS that i recently bought at goodwill!! omg I sung this all the time as a kid!!!!! I'm fucking downloading this and jamin to this in the car!!! XD
more cowbell!!! XD
It's really incredible to me that a song this good was made for a Nickelodeon cartoon. The music/sound production team on Doug was truly talented.
If I could sum up growing up in the 90s in one song...
From the greatest band that never existed but they need to exist cause this is awesome
We can will the Beets into existence, anything is possible.
Such as if we gave these vocals to an AI to have its way with.
AI then spits out a studio album.
This fictional band rocks harder than anything modern artists come up with. Killer Tofu!!!
Best song from my childhood. Hands down.
