Chris is such a sweetheart, mentioning Darren and Chord joining shortly after so they wouldn't feel less important, saying Cory is with them when the question was hard to answer. I love chris

People can say what they want about Glee, but it won't change the fact that it has changed people in ways they can’t even imagine. It changed me for the better, it made me realise that being different is a good thing. We should never be afraid to be ourselves, we need to go after our dreams and never stop believing. Stand up for what we believe in and stand up for our loves ones. Follow our hearts. That is what this show has taught me and I will forever cherish that. I will forever be grateful that it introduced me to such great, diverse music that otherwise I would have never known of. And lead me to discover such great talent and wonderful people. I am just sorry Cory won't be here to say goodbye to this chapter of our lives with us. He will never be forgotten. I love you Cory.
Well said - people don't understand the underlying core of the show and that was, the valuable lessons that were there in the show to learn....and every person took the ones that applied to them. Not every episode was outstanding, but the show on the whole was outstanding and even as an older person (that I am), I will miss GLEE....BUT I have my DVDs of the show which I will always treasure.

WildCandy I'm just happy that Darren and Chord actually admit that. It's sickening how most of the audience seems to insist that Darren/Chord are part of the original cast when they are not. You can put Dianna and Mark into that mix because they were regulars since the beginning along with Matt, Jayma, Jane, and Jessalyn, but other than that, original cast means they were there since the "origin" of the show.
People cannot fathom how much Cory meant to so much of us... his passing hit us as hard as it did for the cast, because he was our role model, our idol, our inspiration, the guy we looked up to, the guy we wanted to be more like... He was our friend. He was our family. Now he is our Angel. I think about him all the time and I cry, and I smile, and I laugh, but most of all I strive to do better--to be better. He was a beacon of light in this dark world and while it dimmed when he left us, it grew brighter tenfold because of all of us Gleeks standing together and working together to be that light for him. He and the Glee cast have taught us so much about what it means to be human and how to be a good person and never take life for granted. I promised Cory the day he died that I will never take drugs in my life and I intend not to break that promise. Cory was genuinely the nicest man and he will forever be in my heart. He has touched so many lives, that's how you know he was special. I listen to him sing whenever I feel depressed and he makes me feel better. Even after he's gone he continues to help me, and when my time on Earth is eventually up, I can't wait to thank him and give him a big hug when I reach the other side. I miss you, Frankenteen. I'll always love you.

The first season was good, but never has any show spun so out of control with insane, inconsistent, and flat-out bizarre writing. It was like watching the florid hallucinations of a meth-addicted schizophrenic.
First 2 seasons were gold. Then during season 3, they got a bunch of new writers and the show started to get less and less interesting. Honestly, the music, Troubletones, and the fact that they finally won Nationals is the only good saving grace of season 3. The storylines just started getting worse and worse.
it went downhill all thanks to the writers. But i'm glad that they are given a proper send off instead of just getting canceled with a cliffhanger. I will be forever glad that this show existed. i grew up with them for the past 6 years and it's finally ending next week. just wished that they didn't completely messed up Season 4 & 5, because i willingly pretend that those two seasons doesn't exist.
The NYC part of the season were good and part of the story on these kids was how the :"arts & music" affected their lives and what they went on to do when they got older. If you didn't have S5, the finale wouldn't have made any sense.
I think there should have been a better storyline with the new kids instead of just focusing on The newyork part ... i wanted to get to know the new students instead of just focusing on the newyork drama and the cutting to the new kids performing and then back to Newyork

The first season was good, but never has any show spun so out of control with insane, inconsistent, and flat-out bizarre writing. It was like watching the florid hallucinations of a meth-addicted schizophrenic.

First 2 seasons were gold. Then during season 3, they got a bunch of new writers and the show started to get less and less interesting. Honestly, the music, Troubletones, and the fact that they finally won Nationals is the only good saving grace of season 3. The storylines just started getting worse and worse.

it went downhill all thanks to the writers. But i'm glad that they are given a proper send off instead of just getting canceled with a cliffhanger. I will be forever glad that this show existed. i grew up with them for the past 6 years and it's finally ending next week. just wished that they didn't completely messed up Season 4 & 5, because i willingly pretend that those two seasons doesn't exist.
The NYC part of the season were good and part of the story on these kids was how the :"arts & music" affected their lives and what they went on to do when they got older. If you didn't have S5, the finale wouldn't have made any sense.
I think there should have been a better storyline with the new kids instead of just focusing on The newyork part ... i wanted to get to know the new students instead of just focusing on the newyork drama and the cutting to the new kids performing and then back to Newyork
