There is one bug I found after the update, but I don’t know if it applies to anyone else. After playing for like 30 min, my mouse pointer moves in game when I turn my head or look up and down. This causes me to press my taskbar or pause menu.
Speaking of tall grass bug: I was kinda dissapointed, that it doesn't stay in this illegal state. I noticed that it would render as normal tall grass after reloading the game

Bedrock Edition updates getting rolled out with major bugs that affect the new content directly is getting really annoying. Mob spawning in Ancient Cities, mob spawning in Trial Chambers, Trail Ruins having large sections cut off, and now our Pale Gardens generating with almost no Creaking Hearts… I get the occasional oversight or minor bug that doesn’t affect gameplay, but having the brand new update content bugged to the point of unplayability shouldn’t be acceptable by whoever is running the Bedrock dev team.
Agree completely. People were looking forward to a new update and were met with a lot of wasted time and disappointment instead. I used chunkbase to find a pale garden 8000ish blocks away so I expanded my nether hub that way and portaled into a dark forest that was surrounded completely by elevated pale garden biome and it was so cool. I must find and frame an efficiency 1 golden apple before it's fixed

I found a GREAT Pale Garden in Java and converted it to Bedrock. Voila! It is massive! I built a house right in the middle and have a Creaking named "Douglas Fir" as a companion. What a peaceful place.
Adding my hat in the ring for an additional bug/unintentional change? On my realm we use riptide with elytra for the main mode of transportation (its renewable and only requires light infrastructure) and when this update dropped the distance you could riptide elytra was significantly decreased to the point of making more than half of my sky water highway impossible to use anymore. For scale, before the update you could riptide to the clouds from ocean level (best results was standing in 1 block deep water and around a 45ish degree angle) so long as you got a good takeoff and deployed your elytra immediately after letting go of the right mouse button, but now thats completely impossible. I dont know about horizontal distance since you can glide but this random vertical nerf is a huge kick to the shins Like dude before this we used speed horses but they patched out the bug for that so once the last one inevitably died the overworld highways became obsolete, and I made a gunpowder farm that became broken with an update and now spawns spiders as well (this has happened before and they fixed it in the past, but I dont think its getting fixed this time because its been months now). And that was entirely for rockets so yeah. And then this, i know its a coincidence but it feels like they keep targeting bedrock's transportation 😭 like whats next, ice boating?? edit: you got it in the video lol thanks for being so vigilant, this is why youre my go-to bedrock guy
I used chunkbase to find a pale garden. It was really small on the side of a mountain and had no creaking heart. The second one was a decent sized biome but only had two hearts. Chunkbase is a must. You could fly for hours and easily miss this biome I wish pale moss could be broken with a piston.
@BavidDigg I tested last night. I have a pointless farm that grows glow berry and redvines. I switched em out for pale moss. It does break it but it doesnt drop anything. Also I should clarify that I meant the hanging moss
I actually found one of those efficiency 1 gapples about a month before the pale gardens update. Don’t know when it became a thing but I just passed it off as bedrock jank haha
When they announced the community challenges, I tried looking for one on my own for a sec, got bored, used /locate to find the nearest. 3000 blocks away. 1 heart. I didn't know how to make resin blocks yet, so I didn't farm enough to make another, so I had to look for another garden... I had learned they spawned by dark forests and the one the first garden was by was pretty big so I went around the circumference and actually did find another! ... It was literally two trees. neither with a heart. One got blown up by a creeper 😂 so then the biome was half the size. Died at some point and so I used the locate command again, this time one was 2000 blocks away. Got there and it's actually pretty good! Like a real biome/forest, instead of a garden. (the name makes sense with how small these are.) It is shaped like a donut, completely surrounding a small dark forest. Has at least 7-12 hearts so yay. But now I have enough resin for a heart, and a silk touch axe and saplings, so except for the flowers, I have no reason to ever look for one again... That's maybe just how biomes are though.
fun fact! you can starve on bedrock in the new update, I actually managed to get it like 2 days ago (?). It took me jumping for like 45 minutes on hard mode. however, I was doing it for the iron belly achievement and even though I took damage from starvation, it still doesn’t count as starving for some reason.
I had a weird situation on bedrock, I had a tree farm out the back near a dark oak forest. Pale biome easily 250 blocks away but I was planting pale oak saplings in my tree garden. When at night I could see a creaking about 30 blocks away for short bursts. Bizarre enough I ended up finding the heart underground in a 1x1 pale oak log. I was so confused as to how it happened as it wasnt in a cave, no biome close enough, but there it was. Never happened again either.
idk if im doing something wrong but every time i die in peaceful / easy i still lose my stuff (even on fresh world no cheats), but the change was still in the patch notes. was actually looking forward to that change personally (i've gotten very lazy over time). also i remember being upset about rockets not exploding on impact way back when the crossbow was added, thanks for bringing back that memory of constantly checking to see if they had fixed it. and constantly being disappointed.
i found a pale garden relatively close to my spawn in my world which is crazy because I made it back in 1.15 and thought i had explored pretty much everywhere within 5000 blocks.
I did a stream for the last couple of days now of Minecraft mainly searching for the creaking. I was able to get one and I was also working on a farm. Speaking of which I mentioned you in my stream for the farms in the content that you do so thank you again for that.
On my oldest, Java world, the pale garden was close, had a lot of hearts. So when I spent hours in bedrock and found one small one with 2 hearts, I was frustrated. Now I know why.
4:20 Not exactly sure what you meant in this one, are you saying the creaking should freeze if you look at it with the third person camera view? Because that would be completely broken, the intended behaviour is that it freezes when it's inside your 1st person camera view (even if you are not currently seeing through that one), but you can see it moving if you use 3rd person because your character isn't looking at it
The explosive rockets not working on the creaking from the crossbow is a bummer. Need sweeping edge bad. I also found potion of decay works on the creaking, however they're a lot harder to craft
So for the first issue, I made a new world for the update and found multiple decent sized biomes and all with multiple hearts that were all close to spawn and very easy to use for hardcore survival. I did use chunkbase to ensure I didn't wander in the wrong direction, as well as scout potential options for bases per dungeons and such; but never the less my first random seed is premium 👌
I found 2 in my world the first was only about 12 trees, but the 2nd is pretty massive… but still spent 3 game nights looking for the creaking heart and only found 1… but there were dozens of skeletons.
Yeah it was really annoying. My friends and I travelled 3000 blocks away to the nearest pale garden on our realm the day the upsate released and found absolutely zero creaking hearts. Really disappointing
i used chunkbase and realized most of them are converted birch forest biomes, pretty much like mangrove swamps... and weirdly they are all 2000+ blocks at least from spawn
Can confirm the riptide nerf. Have a roof high above my base I used to be able to reach with riptide 3 but after the update can’t, or at least most of the time. In testing it, I found you can sometimes reach the same heights as before if you are bobbing up in the water and release at the right time.
i had a world that was surroudned by dark oak trees, but after update the forests got taken over even thoiugh they were close enough in my vision and were still taken over, but i havent explored yet
I found 1 super small one in my world at the cords -15,679 92 26252, the numbers are high because i have explored a 10k by 10k square from 0,0 log be for the update was announced. So far i have a 602 day count in this survival world. I was also making a journey to find woodland mansion because I knew one would be close to it. But the closest one too me was a not so chill 36k blocks for me thanks to the update corrupting some of the forest in my world. I spent like 40 minutes on a back up creative copy of my world and trying to find the mansion, but I kept getting broken maps and ended 17k blocks away from my base.
As someone who is often involved in QAQC, releasing an update with game-breaking mechanics associated WITH THE ACTUAL UPDATE seems almost inconceivable. Why, Mojang.
So, Bedrock edition pale oaks only have 1/4 the chance they should have to generate a creaking heart? That explains why it took over an hour to find a single one in the relatively large pale garden I found in my realm. Yeesh!
Oooh! No wonder! A few days ago I leveled the whole area… 3 or 4 shulkers worth of wood and found only one creeking heart… definitely was not happy about that
I managed to find a decent sized biome, just a few thousand blocks away from world spawn (real close to the end portal too) and even found a creaking. Clearly I'm very lucky
I have to agree that it's bugged. I was setting up a creaking farm using sticky pistons to move the logs away from the heart and the when they activated and moved the logs, the heart didn't deactivate.
PSA for finding Pale Gardens: DO NOT USE CHUNKBASE. I don't think the biomes are displaying correctly for certain seeds. Instead, make a copy of your world in Creative mode and use the command /locate biome pale_garden.
Did you remember to change the version to 1.20.5? I only offer such an obvious suggestion because my smooth brain forgot to do that, hence why I couldn't find the Pale Garden on Chunkbase.
I have not found any creaking hearts yet I’ve searched in 5 different biome sections so I can’t get the resin and really was looking forward to using the new blocks but at least I got the pale oak to work with
This is one time i actually got lucky. Pale garden was close and i found it quickly. Right next to a bugged out mansion that had a chunk cut out of it.
I'm so annoyed with the creaking going through pistons. I built a monster machine a hybrid between your big one " I think like you " and rays works .. would be epic if I don't forget to not look 25 degrees towards it
What about the villagers loosing their 1 emerald trades? Also had a shulker of tools doup itself somehow. All in my long term world that was started in 1.19
The biggest problem is the pale oak drop rate! I took 18 sapling home from 12k blocks away and after cutting down the trees I had 8 saplings… how am I supposed to farm these trees?!
Huh I found a pale garden only like 300 blocks away from spawn in my 6 month old realm. Guess I never traveled in that direction 😅 i was getting scared the new biome would be everywhere
I guess I got lucky because I just flew in a direction I was pretty sure was unexplored and found a somewhat large garden in the biggest dark oak forest I've ever seen. About 2000 block away.
I strongly suspect that the nerf on riptide is a very poor attempt to limit the new chunk loading warning and chunk loading problem that is especially broken for me on Realms. I can no longer travel with elytra even with the slowest rockets or I hit a wall and stop constantly!! This has ruined my weekend as I had to fight through it to travel 6000 blocks to the nearest Pale Garden. Even when I first load into a Realm, my player gets stuck for a minute or two as I can see down into the ground and the chunk I am standing in is not loaded. I even tried lowering my render distance to the minimum and it still happened. I’m not sure if this error is on the server side or my PC, to be fair I have a broken and slow C Drive but I run the game off a secondary SSD. But regardless it was not happening as much before this update so they definitely broke something there for me.
@@silentwisperer uuuuuh that’s actually terrible though? Most good transportation puts the player into unloaded chunks in seconds- ice boats, elytra, speed horses (rip speed horse bug)… not being able to travel into unloaded chunks would slow everything down so much!
i love how it is broken and immediatelly i think "of course it is, they have been working on it for a few months.. they usually need a bunch of years to make something that's kinda working" xD it means that i'm just so fed up i can't handle it anymore xD

STAAAAHP hurting Creaking! He's a living tree!
This channel is so good 😊
Wasn’t in this video, ender man when Agro just teleport out of boats.
Glad to see it’s not just me who only had one pale garden in 10,000 blocks any direction and it was one tree 😂
Yeah it was really annoying. My friends and I travelled 3000 blocks away to the nearest pale garden on our realm the day the upsate released and found absolutely zero creaking hearts. Really disappointing
Thank goodness wandering traders sell pale oak saplings so we can at least get our hands on the wood😊
Enchanted non enchanted enchanted apple
i used chunkbase and realized most of them are converted birch forest biomes, pretty much like mangrove swamps... and weirdly they are all 2000+ blocks at least from spawn
0:22 That's why chunkbase exists 😅
Creaking Hearts definitely too rare in Bedrock. I’ve never found a naturally generated Creaking Heart in two Pale Gardens I visited.
Same here
Can confirm the riptide nerf. Have a roof high above my base I used to be able to reach with riptide 3 but after the update can’t, or at least most of the time. In testing it, I found you can sometimes reach the same heights as before if you are bobbing up in the water and release at the right time.
I'm just gonna wait even longer to find the Pale Garden in survival
2:14 And that looks like a gun when it unloads
i had a world that was surroudned by dark oak trees, but after update the forests got taken over even thoiugh they were close enough in my vision and were still taken over, but i havent explored yet
I spent like 40 minutes on a back up creative copy of my world and trying to find the mansion, but I kept getting broken maps and ended 17k blocks away from my base.
another method for doing aoe damage is to use riptide although that destroys a riptide trident :P
hmm thats a decent option 🤔
@@silentwisperer for a silverfish farm its worth it if you have mending
Ps4 and 5 also has a bug where trophies don't count towards achievements
1.21.5 biome finder works fine for me on Bedrock, Pale Garden found 1st try
ye you gotta set it to bedrock and put in your world seed
@@silentwispererDidn't work for me. I had to use the locate biome command to find it
@@will-qw4epThey said it doesn't work on some seeds
Idk if that's true but it didn't work on the seed of the world I was using
Yes sometimes they forget things but for some reason it seems to happen more often in bedrock edition. No idea what that could be
I have not found any creaking hearts yet I’ve searched in 5 different biome sections so I can’t get the resin and really was looking forward to using the new blocks but at least I got the pale oak to work with
This is one time i actually got lucky. Pale garden was close and i found it quickly. Right next to a bugged out mansion that had a chunk cut out of it.
I'm so annoyed with the creaking going through pistons. I built a monster machine a hybrid between your big one " I think like you " and rays works .. would be epic if I don't forget to not look 25 degrees towards it
Yo silent i would love to see an updated version of the wither skeleton farm from 2 years ago (end game farm)
You can eat normal apples with full hunger on older versions, not just this one.
For damaging massive amount of creakings, would it be possible to put thorn one on a piece of armor and combine it with an xp farm ?
Wait so If I go find a woodland mansion right now I can get that apple?
4:30 straight up not a bug if it was possible 3rd person would make the creaking useless no way you can even think that is a fair suggestion
I had to fly 16K blocks for 1 heart. Good thing we can craft them.
How did you get the title screen pano at 4:41 ?
Huh I found a pale garden only like 300 blocks away from spawn in my 6 month old realm.
Guess I never traveled in that direction 😅 i was getting scared the new biome would be everywhere
Is that why I keep hearing midget zombie noises and creepers igniting whenever I’m near a parrot
yeah parrots mimic mobs around them. you probably have one in a cave nearby
@ really I didn’t know that there’s still stuff about this game I’m finding out about
I guess I got lucky because I just flew in a direction I was pretty sure was unexplored and found a somewhat large garden in the biggest dark oak forest I've ever seen. About 2000 block away.
can you tell me what shader you use for the truely bedrock vids or make a tutorial on how to install it
It took me a while on bedrock but i found a decent size pale garden and it still didn’t have a single creeking heart 😭
0:35 look like mojang copied mod developers
Thankfully i found two with my buddy when the update came out took the hearts home
But regardless it was not happening as much before this update so they definitely broke something there for me.
they made it so you stop on unloaded chunk borders, that way you cant fly into unloaded areas and break stuff haha
@@silentwisperer uuuuuh that’s actually terrible though? Most good transportation puts the player into unloaded chunks in seconds- ice boats, elytra, speed horses (rip speed horse bug)… not being able to travel into unloaded chunks would slow everything down so much!
I usually eat normal apples 😅 I though it was like honey bottles that you can eat with full hunger just now I found out it was a bug
Splash potion timings have issues.
I got the E1 apple before the pale garden update, so it's preexisting, though I'm not sure since when
i love how it is broken and immediatelly i think "of course it is, they have been working on it for a few months.. they usually need a bunch of years to make something that's kinda working"
xD it means that i'm just so fed up i can't handle it anymore xD
Found a decent sized one but had to fly 23,500 blocks south
