Exactly! The older dogs/wolves/coyotes in a pack will always eat before the pups. They need to survive to protect and feed the pack as well as procreate. Pups are loved but not placed before them in the “lunch line.” It’s a matter of survival of the fittest when it comes to the pups. If a pup is lost, it will likely be mourned for a short time, but in their world, dogs know it can easily be replaced. If an adult capable of hunting and procreating is lost, the whole pack can suffer.

Some TH-cam channel creators make animals suffer to receive many views showing the torture of animals.........I have seen this white dog repeatedly in different videos attacking the same baby dog, In another of the videos the dog bites the skin on the puppy's forehead and blood flows out while the person who is recording does nothing to defend the puppy and the baby cries for a long time……CRUEL,, ,CRUELTY,,,, EVIL,,,,

Your a very kind hearted gentleman for taking on the care of this poor lil guy. Puppy care isn't cheap. The only thing I'd like to reflect on is that you sometimes refer to him as IT. You gave him a name for a reason, it's not nice to refer to your fur baby and sidekick as it. Apart from that your doing a great job. ❤❤
