And this is why I love Dnd! In one of my campaigns (we have a SW5e dnd game) and my character (A Mirialan Sentinel, she is abrasive, awkward as heck Mechanic) and one of the other Guys (he plays a female Twi'lek Operative/Guardian mutliclass) have had a ton of tension (and a force bond since then) and I swear to god his Girlfriend ships our characters hardcore and has made it her quest in game to have our characters get together, to the point where now even the DM has added RP prompts haha.
Its awesome when you have a fun dynamic like that in game :)

There's a moment during the last season when he addresses the subject of not being interested in dating anyone and being afraid of not meeting the social expectations placed upon him by others, so there's a pin with a question mark on Riz's sexuality, for now it points towards the possibility of being Ace, but WHAT IF he actually is attracted to shrimp? MAYBE? Its dimension twenty, I mean... who the fuck knows at this point

I think Brennan once said (I think it was in a fireside chat) that Ayda was only meant to be a one-time character in a fetch quest. It's amazing that the players decided to befriend her and let her come with them in the story, just shows how much PCs can enrich a DM's storyline

Ayda was supposed to only appear once as part of a fetch quest. It's the players that made her a more regular character. Brennan is the master of Yes And. He didn't initially intend for Ayda to be a romantic interest, but when Emily went that way, he made it feel entirely natural.
Is no one else gonna comment about how smooth Emily was with that "Yeah, why don't you show me?" It's kinda funny to transition from her running away terrified to come back an deliver such a smooth comeback.

I cannot explain how happy Ayda makes me. I love her and she's the best autistic representation i've ever seen, i literally cried a bit of happiness when i realised that. Not just because of her way of thinking and manerisms, but also bcs she's such an amazing tridimentional character who's focus isn't just "autism". She's an amazing, talented person and i feel like all autistic people have to know her

One of the greatest moments in FHSY and D20 as a whole. It was amazing. I love Ayda. And she and Fig are awesome together. D20 gives us the representation we deserve. And Lou's reaction will always be legendary. I hope to see much more of Ayda in future seasons.

Ayda is one of my favorite autistic characters in media, I adore her and feel so seen with her anxieties.

Brennan does a very good job of roleplaying an autistic character. Its a very particular presentation of autism that is different from my own autism and has been done before in media, but brenan does jt very respectfully and makes it a part of ayda's character bwithout it being all of her character. It is very impressive fkr somone not kn the spectrum to be able to roleplay it so well. It goes to show that no matter our differences we can alwyas put ourselves in each other's shoes. This is js why shoe crime is such a big problem, they are too easy to steal.
IKR? When Brennan found out that autistic fans really saw themselves in Ayda, he did some serious research on autism to faithfully represent Ayda that way. He's so amazing.
This entire campaign showcases the exact reason why Lou and Emily are two of my favorite players in the entire D&D TTRPG space. Just their instincts for characterization and the way they hype up their fellow players at the table is exactly the kind of energy I’m always trying to bring to any table I play or run at.
Finally I don't have to scour through the episode every time I want to remember how adorable this was

I love how this campaign touched on things that a lot of people have to deal with, or bad experiences people have without them meaning to. Like fig have terrible relationship with men and adults (*cough*) then getting into a real relationship with someone and it suddenly being terrifying. Or how dating for the first time can feel for a person who is nerodivergent.

Just finished Sophmore year after watching the first half on TH-cam and the rest on dropout (mainly because I got drop out a couple days ago) and I loved it. Can’t wait for Junior year (and hopefully senior year). I love these character and I love the NPC especially Gilear and Bill Seacaster. So many funny moments in this season. My favorite is Fabian losing his mind and his fear of Chungle Down Bim and Fig just disguising herself as an old lady (and Brennan messing with Emily because of fig kissing adults. Also the letter left on porch the police house and her living on Hilda Blvd and Hilda St). I shall now end this long ass comment and binge watch the other dnd series. Good day good people
