If you've scored less in prep after working hard then they don't matter but bffr prep ke marks already tells much about ki kitna kr paoge. In my school, they already segregate students a/c their prep results and focus on the rankers more.

I got 96% in class10 so I decided to take pcm and do full time jee prep. But now I am suffering I can barely score 33% to 40% in practice test and weekly tests. So boards ab bas students ke sath dhokha jiske marks ke basis par bacche apni zindagi kharab kar sakte hai

Bro don't worry about your preboards I also scored like 72% in the preboards but socred 95% in boards.... The major thing which helps in scoring is only studying NCERT(including activites,theorems,chapter end exercises,intext questions,etc) and doing pyqs.

Abhi agar tere paas time jada nahi h to kamse kam map zarur krlena jitna diya gaya h syllabus mei aur main main chapters pe focus kr aur teachers ne jo important topics bataye h jisse ques jada aane ka chance h wo padhle badhiya se.
Sample paper maine ek bhi nahi banaya tha aur jada bookish language bhi nahi likha tha mainly apne hi words mei answer likha tha sara.
