I needed to get ready without interruption and I don't have a TV but was having a moment of weakness... so I propped up my 3 month old (dressed in her bunny outfit) and put up my phone for her to watch something . .. And this is the first one I could think of !! Sadly it worked she just sat there in amazement... me laughing getting dressed listening to the story

In the beginning was MEpearlA, and the possums were with MEpearlA. And darkness was upon the face of the possum, and the possum was without form. Then MEpearlA said "let there be possum videos" and there were possum videos. So ended the first day.
On the second day, MEpearlA said, "let the animals have water and land". And they did. So ended the second day. On the third day, MEpearlA said, "let the possums have grapes and all other possum foods." So ended the third day. On the fourth, MEpearlA said, "let there be light enough that the possums are comfortable and can find the grapes". So ended the fourth day. On the fifth, MEpearlA said, "let there be beautiful birds and graceful fish to befriend the possum, and let them all live in harmony." So ended the fifth day. On the sixth, MEpearlA said, "let there be leaping rabbits and other fauna to befriend the possums, and let them all live in harmony." So ended the sixth day. On the seventh day, MEpearlA took a well-deserved nap. Meanwhile, in the forests, the possums drank their water and ate their fruit. And they were happy. But they remembered one rule made by MEpearlA: do not eat the white flowers that grow along the edge of the forest! The possums were good, but always curious. One, named Tulip, was too curious. She went out to the white flowers and stared hungrily every day, but she remembered what MEpearlA had said... ...until lizard came along! Lizard prowled up and sat on the flowers, munching on a leaf. "Mm, these are far better than the grapes!" Little Tulip's mouth watered, but she shook her head. "I know better than to eat such flowers! You cannot make me." Lizard looked at her with mock surprise. "Why, Tulip! I would never make you. I must just say that these flowers are so, so, very delicious!" Little Tulip's mouth watered, and she tentatively took a small bite. It was better than grapes... ...but Little Tulip felt so guilty! Little Tulip ran from the flowers and did not tell the others what she had done. But over the next week, she grew ill. The other possums, even the best possum doctors, were baffled! No one had ever seen a sickness like this. The possums brought Little Tulip to MEpearlA for help. MEpearlA knew immediately what had happened. "Tulip," she said, "I have a cure, but you must admit to what you did." Bowing her head in shame, Tulip confessed: "I ate the white flowers that you forbade us to eat." MEpearlA smiled down at her. The other possums gasped. "Very good, Tulip. It is okay. I will take care of that mean lizard," MEpearlA said. And Tulip was given a diamond vial of cure, and became well soon, and jumped for joy!

I'm so in love.. you are who I inspire to be when I'm older. I love y fur babies. I have rescued many animals, including my striped pet skunk, pork. but my favorite animal of all is the opossum. they are the sweetest animals.
***** just remember to give them the glucosamine. And certain vitamins or they can get certain problems. And a wide range diet. Bugs to fruit.. even a thawed frozen mouse time to time. They are sweethearts though I have a pet striped skunk in my house. He is my little potato.
funny video...her opossums are pretty gentle, we have two and my daughter has one and they are all about like this woman's opossums....gentle...while they will sleep with you just fine at night, its best to not over water them because you will be washing blankets the next morning...we litter trained our two opossums and they are usually good for a few hours before they need to pee...totally amazing animals...an adult wild caught female (18 months old or so) has tamed to be sweet after a month of gentle care and attention...they are not what most people think...

Okay, clearly, this gal is not functioning on the same wavelength as me. And, although I have no idea what she's talking about and am not familiar with psychic readings or chakras or what have you, I absolutely LOVE her videos. Love them. This particular video is a native American "just so" story of how opossum lost his furry tail. There's tons like that. My favorite is how chipmunk got his stripes.

That was Quite the Story. Very Beautiful Opossums you have. I Raised a Baby a couple of year's ago! But I took him to a Sanctuary so he could play with other's like him.
I have 4 oposums and a raccoon who visit the back yard and they all get along even with the cats. I never handle the raccoon, but the opossum let me pet them and feed them. They don't seem to mind that I'm so big. One opossum is blind in one eye but she gets along just fine and I'm sure has a home somewhere close. And you can tell the difference. Their coats are different colors and the markings down their nose are different.
