Have been looking at this lovely watch a lot and tried it on recently at a boutique. No sure if I like the chronograph version more aesthetically. I believe both are great options.
I'm torn between the two.
I have this watch and I love it. Now the only down side is that there is no quick day change. I put it on dark blue jlc gator strap. Price wise currently sitting 24K AUD retail. Its a beautiful watch but JLC could do better. I got mine for half of the retail price during the peak of covid but I heard nowadays botiques dont give discounts anymore just freebies.
The crown placement is so low in the case it’s hard to unsee it once noticed.
I tried this on at the boutique and I was so let down. The dial seemed so bland.
Yeah. JLC have been releasing pretty boring watches in recent years. To fix it, now they've just been releasing new dials for these watches.
Agree, the blue dial is much better.
For me the day and month fonts were so faint. The silver dial almost looked like paper.
I owned one of these. A beautiful watch, but I just couldn’t read it easily, especially in daylight. I much prefer the black dial Chopard LUC XP I traded it for.
You know what. Make Casios in such cases and everything.
I love this one
A plain "calendar" watch just seems backward and obsolete, by now. If they're going to put the month on a watch, it should at least be an annual or perpetual calendar that self-adjusts for 30- or 31-day months. Nobody is going to futz with re-setting that five times a year.
