As a game designer who doesn't know how to use blueprint or code, this is something that perhaps can finally allow my creativity and knowledge to flow through to the Unreal Engine without a programmer. (I can't remember how many times people simply tell me to just learn how to code)
Because you have to learn how to code. This isn't something people just say because it's a meme. In order to make games that don't play like asset flips in the engine you have to dive into c++ and blueprinting at some point. Even materials are made with blueprints.
This type of stuff is for more advanced users. If you want to be lazy and just wanna right prompts to make video games you gotta wait at least 3 more years and when the time comes people will be so farther from you so you still wouldn't want to learn whatever they know. So this is a loop.

Curious - how far away is Flightdeck from being able to capture a location and create geometry within the Engine? i.e. I go to my house on Google maps, and want to have a rough 3D model in Unreal that I can then walk around and look at and evolve further.
Nice. Looks like 90% of the demo was just going to places. But can Flightdeck be used to troubleshoot Unreal Engine? If for example my camera is moving from a close up shot of a person in a forest, and backs up to a very wide aerial view of the forest, and my trees are disappearing in proportion to my camera distance, can Flightdeck be used to troubleshoot that? Or other things?

Is this still active? Unreal needs something like this asap. I can't believe Epic is sleeping on AI. I love Unreal (been using it for 10 years) but damn it's such slow burdening process even after a decade of daily use
This is just the beginning for AI in unreal engine this is going to take unreal engine to be a trillion dollar company and empower creatives all over the world to no longer need big production companies.
That’s cool but seriously it will take me few mins not weeks to do the same thing you just did with more control over the sky and lights overall. It’s fairly simple and tbh relying on such tool won’t get you far in the industry just my 2 cents
Totally fair. We made this tool for people with less experience in UE5. At the end of the day, if you have a better understanding of 3D software and workflows, you'll be better at it. Hope you still try it out! Thanks for the feedback.
Hey just out of curiosity, where is this at development wise? Can it be used for programming? Making blueprints? Specific scenes? Materials? Etc?
