- I had AI generate Mario Kart DS gameplay. It started off with a screenshot of Mario Kart DS, and it built off from there. As you can see, the farther the video goes, the less it actually looks like Mario Kart DS.

@@sethgob5591pretty sure it was the persective of the bend. Could have been a dark path under the trees or a bend around the hill, but it was small in the distance and it couldn't fix the issue so it was just mush which looked more like a dead end, so it became one.
He literally started reversing I thought his head was on backwards until I realized and instead of fixing it the AI just put another Mario up front 😂

Here is my idea:
It starts off like a knockoff Mario Kart game.
You notice that some things are.. off.
The sky is light blue with no clouds, there is terrain sorrounding you but literally nothing behind it, just the blue sky. It seems.. liminal.
After a while, weird stuff starts to happen. The game is made so you can only reach 1st place after like 1 minute of racing, so you will play during that time with nothing particularly interesting happening. Then, when the (hidden) timer runs out and you reach 1st place, after 2 seconds, the screen flashes black.
Things start getting distorted, after 3 seconds the screen flashes quickly 2 timea and goes black for 3 seconds with the car sounds sounds still going.
...
Now you can see again, but the sky is completely black and you're in 0th place.
You press the button to see behind you but no one is there. The minimap is empty, too, with only you being there.
Things keep glitching. You complete the track and a little victory animation starts playing with your character swinging its arms with no music nor any sound effects. The camera rotates, slowly turning to the front of the car...

This feels surreal. Especially how the track went from pretty spot on to Wizard of Oz typa stuff.
I didn't read the original book, I read some Soviet knockoff of it by some guy named Alexander Volkov and I imagined it as... more realistic except for some magical stuff here and there. No random weird colors and stuff, this video is more like 21st century cartoons stuff than what I imagined. Except for the road, ofc, it was yellow

Being real here but we have no idea how fast this technology will develop. While it may be in it's infancy right now, where it was a year ago versus now is a big jump. Another 5 years and you may not even recognize a video as computer generated. I firmly believe A.I. produced content will become a copyright nightmare in the near future if regulations aren't enforced.
