That’s why i think lyrics convey something a bit darker than it may seem at first sight. It’s not a “we have to break up” song. It’s a “I need to break up with you” and “why did you leave me?” ‘Cause there was more than pain in there, there was no communication at all maybe even a vicious relation of possession. I don’t know, it just feels that way to me.
